   Visited the Marmalade pot with a large group of adults and children. Service was great and efficient with friendly staff. Food waa delicious and great portion sizes. Will definitely be back. Soft play was an added bonus for keeping the kids entertained, it was also clean and well run.

   The restaurant was not clean. Cobwebs around the lights and toilets blocked. Ordered chicken share plate for starters which was a bit on the dry side but not the worst. I ordered 2 steaks 1 fish and a burger for main. The 2 steaks came out well done we ordered rare and medium. Bettered fish was soggy. No complaints with the burger. Received a call from manager but was unable to speak to him at the time.

   I recently visited this place and found it to be very homely and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable, making it a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The food was delicious — freshly prepared, well-presented, and full of flavour. There’s also plenty of seating available, so it never feels crowded, and you can choose from a variety of cosy spots to sit. Overall, it’s a great place for good food, friendly service, and a relaxing, homely experience.

   A great place to take my grandchildren because of the play area built on to the side. At £9.99 for a four weekly pass it is the best value anywhere around hear. The snack menu is also very good value and the choices are exactly what children want. On the downside the toilets are grubby. The hand drier in the boys toilet has been broken for months and the toilet is often blocked. As for the main bar, I find the quality of the food a bit hit or miss. The staff are always pleasant

   We went to Marmalade Pot on a Saturday afternoon and it was not busy. We ordered a chicken burger with chips, grilled chicken and chips with vegetables, children's chicken nuggets, chips and peas with child's icecream as part of the children's menu meal. My partner enjoyed her chicken burger and I also enjoyed the grilled chicken but I have to say the portion size was quite small for the grilled chicken dish but decent prices so can't complain to much. Staff where friendly and table was clean on arrival. Would go back again at some point.

   By chance found this lovely pub the staff were brilliant all throughout the meal . Helpful with info about their app and if u download it u get a free drink .the meal was excellent (mega grill mix )so much I couldn't finish it .will be back again

   We went yesterday to meet some friends. The service was absolutely superb! Unbeatable anywhere..... Karen, the chefs and the rest of the team were friendly, professional and very helpful! Our steaks were cooked perfectly and are unbelievable value for money. We are already looking forward to our next visit despite living 40 minutes drive away! Highly recommend you visit! Thanks to all the team!!

   I normally don't give bad reviews but it was pretty awful. We ordered sirloin steak but half way through waiting for the order we were told there was only the cheaper steak, which was 100% absolutely fine but they didn't offer us the money back for the more expensive steak we'd ordered. When the meals did arrived the sauce was seriously disgusting, so I asked for a different one that didn't turn up until we were literally just about to finish our meal. The salad on the other dishes were all brown and wilted, you can see from the photo. We won't be back in afraid...Gutted.
