Couldn't believe they stopped serving there old pub grub favourites like steak pie or grilled chicken. Was very generic no interaction with staff and some of our sides cold for example our peppercorn sauce for our steaks. Steaks also were asked for to be prepared medium but came like well done and very tough and grizzly. Chips cold aswell
Very good food, pleasantly surprised. The chicken gyros were very tasty. Desserts are good as always . Service was efficient and friendly. Would recommend booking ahead as it does get busy.

Visited recently for the first time for lunch with my family and will definitely be back. Food was superb with lovely flavours and great quality ingredients. It has a nice atmosphere also. I ordered the chicken fajitas for my main and also chips as I wasn’t sure there’d be enough but was left stuffed and couldn’t eat it all. When I was there they had a pay £1 for a child which is a great deal especially as it went on till I’m sure 6pm. There is also live music and a quiz on certain nights. Can’t wait to come back.
Recently the place has upped its game. The staff are really friendly and drinks are reasonably priced. The food is ok but for the price you cant really complain.
Went in today for lunch for the first time and it was delicious. I has the halloumi fries which normally comes with garlic mayo but I asked for sweet chilli dip, they were crispy and the cheese melted in my mouth. for mains I got the mix grill
Had a lovely 3 course Christmas Dinner 2022. Good pre-selected choice and tasted good There were 10 of us Service was a little slow due to the fact they were down to 2 Chefs only. Under the circumstances serving staff and Chefs did very well. Can recommend
What a gem of a place . Went here for lunch with my apprentice and we where both pleasantly surprised . Pub grub done well and very cheap . I'll definitely be back
Food and drink was good value for money. All the food tasted nice, good portion sizes and went down a treat. Halloumi fries and the sweet potato fries are recommended. Staff were extremely nice, friendly and welcoming. Cannot fault them whatsoever. Tables and interior were clean and tidy. The bar next door was busy but we wouldn't have known as didn't hear any noise from there. No issues in getting a table, but it was Tuesday night. We didn't realise, but remember to use your Meerkat Meals voucher to get 25% off your meals Monday-Wednesday. We'll definately be back.
