“Pints of different kinds are reduced to £2.95 a pint, including Fosters. Friendly bar, staff and locals and it's neutral which is a plus. Jukebox got me 10 songs for two quid. Pool table for 50p a game. What more could you want?”

“We did a eat walk food tours in Glasgow and this was one of our first stops. It was in Central Station. It was a perfect spot. The Steak Frites was cooked perfectly — juicy and full of flavor — while the crispy fries were spot on. We paired it with the famous Scottish Irn-Bru, adding a fun local twist. Great food, great service, and a great vibe! Highly recommend”

“Great experience. Pricey at £35 per person but you can eat as much as you want, including unlimited ice cream and desserts. Fun experience, good selection of food. Meats were tasty and it's great being able to cook everything yourself on the grill.”

“Visited here for breakfast the food was very tasty and fresh, there was very little wait time as well. I found the self scan QR code very easy to use. The staff were warm and friendly as well especially Jaden, Rachel, Andre, Kali, Kelsey, Deborah, Campbell, Cameron and Udeni they were very attentive to everyone in the restaurant.”

“Myself mum and my daughter had a meal here for my girls 9th birthday. Food was brilliant could not fault it. They even brought a special dessert for my girl and sung Happy birthday to her. My girl loved every minute. Highly recommend.”

“Dropped in for a quick drink after visiting the Alba bar and grill across the road and ended up staying all night. Staff were friendly and so were the other customers and they serve 35ml measures. Had a band on and ended up dancing the night away in the lounge. Would recomend if in the area.”

“Surprisingly great pub food for Glasgow. Nothing like your normal Wethersoons/Hungry Horse, the burger here had an amazing crisp bun on it and tased so fresh. I also had a slice of the sticky toffee pudding which was very delicious and well presented. It was order at the bar, however the staff were very pleasant and welcoming, bring the food to the table and checking in that everything was good. The atmosphere was pretty quiet tonight as there was nothing on, however they have a board at the door that was full of things like Poker Night and sports events. I'll definitely be back and would throughly recommend a visit.”

“5 stars again. Doubletree by hilton. Our 3 stay here and you dont disappoint from the reception staff to the rooms. Outstanding. It was a birthday trip for 16 year old daughter, we booked the hotel to go see a show. What a fantastic birthday she had, the balloon,banner and chocolates request was dealt with effectively and quickly. We checked in early. Had to pay but didnt mind. Our room was not ready, we went shopping and came back luggage and decorations where all in room in place for us returning. We will definitely be booking for our next trip. Thank you again .”

“Loved this place! We are here after our afternoon in Glasgow. We had the steak pie and it was delicious! It was a yummy roast beef in a gravy sauce with a puff pastry topper, then some peas and carrots on the side. The place itself is really cute, and they had even cuter bathrooms lol. The bar wall is end to end different bottles of whiskey and bourbon, so great if you're into that. They also make other drinks and have some beers on tap. If I ever came back to Glasgow I would eat here again!”

“The tables in here are absolute class! I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside given where it is based. Lots of TV's in the venue so if they show a game you have a great view anywhere in the bar. The pool tables are of perfect quality. The only concern I have is that they are spaced possibly a bit too close to rival tables, including the one we played on which was right beside the toilets. On a Saturday, it was fairly busy with people "getting on it" so lots of drunk guys and girls coming out the toilets pestering us. Overall though, if you can get over that (i'm sure if I was on another table I would not have even noticed) then it's a great place for a few games of pool or to sit in with a drink and watch a few matches.”

“Visited here whilst away with work, Fantastic food. Really good atmosphere, very well priced and has decent beer on offer which is rare in Scotland ;) I took on the Van winkles Bucking hell burger and often with these challenges the meal is bland, It only has size to offer but this was actually an enjoyable eat! I didn't finish the chips but did the burger ok! Definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back when I'm next in Glasgow.”

We had to be seated at the bar initially because the place was full, they were quick to serve us our drinks and provide menus, then the moment a table became available they grabbed us :). Food was absolutely delicious. Best food and service I've received since arriving to the city a week ago. Would go again and again and would highly recommend.”

“Lovely family run pub with great atmosphere and craic. Myself and my brother were over from Dublin for the Glasgow Derby and had great craic with the owners and staff. Hadn’t been in the pub in years but will defo be back every trip over. We were made feel so welcome and always a bonus having an early pint after an early flight. Thanks again guys.”

“We came for a 1 night stay due to work. This hotel has a luxurious ambient vibe as soon as you walk through the door. The attention to detail is fantastic. We dined in the bar and grill and the staff were fantastic. Every single staff member we encountered from the reception to bar to dining were fantastic. The room itself (super king) was spacious comfortable and clean. The decor was very nice. Our meal in the bar and grill was outstanding so compliments to the chef. The rump roast beef was one of the best roast beef dinners I've ever had. I have gone out of my way to write this review because the staff deserve it and nowadays with money being tight across the board people want to great service and this is what we were given. Will be returning and recommending to all friends and family”
