   Beautiful restaurant, clean & lovely atmosphere! We got the 2 course meal a I had Cullen Skink & burger - really good value! My friend had Humes, then Honey Mustard Chicken. Both great portions, good food, friendly service - defo recommend

   Contacted Loks prior to our booking to make them aware of some celebrations that we were having, the staff offered us some complimentary drinks on arrival (most sadly driving but the offer was really appreciated). I arrived earlier than the other guests to set up and the staff were on hand offering help at every turn. Our hosts were attentive, friendly, bubbly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent, all plates cleared! A great experience and we will definitely be back.

   Our go to place for mid week dinner, Excellent deal of 2 courses for £17.50 Mon-Thurs Beef and Cheddar croquettes then Sea bass with Pom Anna , The staff are very friendly and efficient. Never had a bad meal and would definately recommend to all. Returned at the start of August 2025,still good value and food/service are exceptional

   Second visit here, staff very nice. The decor is lovely and nice a chilled. I had Sunday roast beef, which was a bit fatty. Some more veg would have been nice but was still a nice meal. Daughter had piri piri chicken burger, again a big portion. My mum had fish and chips which she said was good. A bit overpriced I would say, I don’t think I would go back.

   First time visit to the bar area for a birthday event. A little off the beaten track but I was really impressed. Friendly staff and a nice cosy, intimate bar area. Some interesting craft beer options and an upmarket feel. Looking forward to returning to try the food in the near future. Very family friendly

   Lovely restaurant good menu and food. Restaurant was very busy but had good ambience. Its easy to move about as tables are spaced nicely apart and good layout in restaurant. Booked on Friday for 3 and partner had gluten-free menu. It isn't on website as a printed option is given on arrival. This is very clear with which are gf and which can have a gf option. Partner is always apprehensive with fried menu items being the worst for cross contamination but our meal didn't cause a reaction. We all had starters and mains which came out promptly despite there being a very large table served around same time. All were hot, well portioned and presented and waiting staff took care with gf option, as 1 was normal. I had a frito mistake which had a nice selection of seafood and had mussels for main. Both were well seasoned and looked lovely. Partner and friend both had lamb, one being gf option and were really good. Lamb was served medium with fried polenta chips with vegetables. Everything was cooked really well. Cocktails were good. Ordered 2 rounds each and they came quickly despite how busy it was. They had nice classic/contemporary selection and they were well priced, along with a few signature items. Gluten-free lager was available too. Didn't get dessert as pushed for time but menu looked good Place looked immaculate and toilets were clean and modern. Menu was quite big so will defo be back to try the rest soon. There is an attached separate busy bar and function room but its well separated from restaurant. Can't wait to come back.
