   The staff are excellent and accomodating, it is busy but the staff do very well and get you served quickly for food and/or drink. One or two of the punters are racist and not shy of letting you know about it and that means for me I doubt I can go back but it's not the fault of the establishment perhaps the fault of the enviroment that has been stoked by hateful people in public life.

   Very friendly and nice staff. Great food considering the good prices. A variety of deals and drinks. And for the more healthy crowds, they always substitute chips for an amazing side salad for any dishes. Love it here. Can’t stop coming back for any meals!!! Best values British food. Really amazing staff again today!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Great to be in ek !

   Great pub, great service, brilliantly run. Came in on Thursday evening and not as busy as expected but got busier when we were in and I must admit the teams level of attentiveness didnt falter, they still kept on top of everything. The manager on shift who i was later told was the pub manager, worked as hard if not harder than everyone else to show how to lead from the front and by example. It was refreshing to see especially after our previous visit to another venue close by. I must say it is hard to believe they are the same company with the same standards etc. Like night and day and I know which one i will be frequenting in future.

   Typical spoons value for money. Located at the East Kilbride shopping centre. Atmosphere was a bit flat with being a Monday night but has to be expected. The young guy serving was really nice, plenty of chat. Would have been a 4 star but he made it 5. Real ales at £1.79 you definitely can't go wrong.

   We often come to the East Kilbride Shopping Centre and the Hay Stook is often where we will eat. It's predictable and tasty with a variety of food and drinks and while it is often busy, we've never not been able to get a seat. Staff are all friendly and service is often quick.

   Went here today for lunch. It was the busiest I have ever seen it with every table taken and there are many tables. We ordered our food and it arrived very quickly and everything we had was delicious. The service was perfect even though the staff were rushed off their feet between serving everyone and clearing all the tables for the next set of customers. We look forward to going back again soon for lunch.
