Food was nice, pork chop was well cooked and the vegetable where lovely. good price and service was good and quick but the tables had empty plates all over the restaurant and it was every table so made the place look untidy and dirty.

Had a family party here, first time ever going and it was amazing. Great prices, amazing staff and lovely venue with outdoor areas. Highly recommend!

Came to the springcroft with my partner and son. Staff are friendly and got a table right away. After ordering food didn’t wait long for it to arrive at table and it was amazing and good value for money! It is always busy and a good atmosphere. Will definitely be eating here again.

This pub is one the best pubs a person can experience. The team were on the ball, Adam charismatically introduced himself and gave excellent service. Lesley was always there to to check if we needed a drink. 10/10 will ne coming back

Whilst the food is still good the service has dramatically went downhill. We ordered desert for my 4 year old daughter, when it came time for dessert we were then told there was no ice cream other than mint. My wife's fajitas didn't have what was on the menu, when we queried it we were told there hadn't been a food delivery. The customer should be told this at the time of ordering.

Christmas Dinner was cold , parsnips were burnt on the outside and hard on the inside Gravy was congealed , looked like the meal had been reheated Staff were pleasant and service was good Pity about the meal. At £44 per head was very disappointed..

The food was very close to the best that we have had and it was really reasonably priced. The staff were really friendly just service was not the best especially when they did not know which steak was medium and which one was well done. The atmosphere was not the best as it was very loud and noisy as there was no physical division between the bar and dinning area. I will definately be going back.

Used to enjoy this place, recently however it feels cheaper and just overall lower effort. Had a few middling visits the past while but last week was the final straw. The menu made my ribs with “chili heatwave Doritos crumb” actually sound nice, didn’t realise I’d get literally a couple Doritos crushed on top. Kudos to the menu, it really hoodwinked me. In addition, nearly all my sides were missing. I had to specifically enquire and the staff didn’t seem to realise most of my sides were absent (pictured). Their explanations even made it sound like the kitchen didn’t know the order was incomplete also. Finally, describing a tiny tub of bog standard sauce as “BBQ gravy” is another great example of the menu pulling one over on me. The menu writer deserves a bloody Oscar for their efforts. I generally love simple pub grub but I like to get what I ordered and not to be disappointed with how the product is advertised. I don’t normally review, but my visit inspired me.
