We brought our English cousins in for drink after dinner. They and we loved it, particularly the live music and dancing!
The best pub visited while in Scotland! Great service, live music, wonderful staff, great selection of drinks. Friendly and helpful staff and even put up with us!
A true local haunt! My husband and I visited on recommendation from our hotel concierge and we were not disappointed. Felt like a true locals spot and the staff were fantastic. So friendly and warm plus great music every single night. Must visit in Glasgow!
This was the real deal! Great music. Everyone seemed to know each other. Many locals. We had a blast. Highly recommend if you like to be immersed in local culture.
Were taken by our Glaswegian friends for the live music and it did not disappoint. John Carmichael was playing accordion and it was great. He played non stop for 3 hours (86 years old) and it was brilliant. The punters were of all ages and we had a lovely time. Even with the music it was still possible to talk as we managed to have a table by the fire exit and it was a wonderful evening.
Excellent and honest west end Glasgow pub
Really nice atmosphere in the Park Bar. It’s cosy, comfy and casual. The kind of place where you can relax and have an actual conversation. Lots of seating and clean and tidy. Having always just passed this place before I’m glad I visited and will return again
Great live music on the weekends and a fun atmosphere to be a part of. Prices are a it more than other local pubs but cheaper than the high end ones in the Finnieston area. The bartenders can be a bit more straight forward and less chatty, but they do their jobs well and are friendly to newcomers. If you don't have a good sense of humor or sarcasm then the bartenders may be intimidating.
Busy pub, had a great night. Band Eriskay Lilt hit the spot playing trad tunes and singing crowd pleasers, not too loud but loud enough. Many Highland and Island clientele. Bar well staffed. Looking forward to visiting again
