Excellent food and service as always. Been coming here ever since this place from changed from an Indian restaurant Nawaz Kahn to Bab Tooma & we've always loved and enjoyed. My kids enjoy it even more. The lady Kiran was exceptional, very polite & patient. She knows how to deal with kids & I would personally say she's One Good Asset this Establishment has. Over all 10/10.

I cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant enough, everything was fantastic, genuinely. From the vibe and decor, to the service and of course THE FOOD, oh the food was delish. A beautiful Syrian restaurant in Roundhay is truly a hidden glory. Every dish was stunning. Before I get into the food I need to mention the staff. Every staff member we encountered at this establishment was warm, kind and perfectly attentive. The waiter Wael was a delight and really added to our dining experience. He also massively helped with recommendations from the menu as well. This experience was made the fantastic staff. I cannot praise them highly enough. The complementary lentil soup was a gorgeous addition to the meal and a lovely surprise. The group ordered an array, the Babtooma Shawarma was a solid 8/10, it was fresh, not too heavy despite being a meaty dish which was a very pleasant surprise The mint and cardamon Arabic teapot was a lovely warming drink, personal preference recommendation would be drinking it before it steeps too much, but definitely depends on your liking as the more it steeps the bitter notes became more pronounced. The Tabbouleh salad was a popular fresh addition to the table. Grilled halloumi was standard, was well plated and the olives were delish Phyllo rolls chicken were crunchy and good Mujadara was a fun rice dish, the fried Arabic style halloumi shawarma was good Arabic Style Chicken shawarma was delicious, delectable and satiating, the chips hit the spot Musakaa and Arabic bread, the bread was lovely and light, but flavoured plainly which provided a good accompaniment to the spiced dishes. The musakaa itself was disappointing, it was very oily and lacked any significant flavour. Sadly, I would not get this again. Lemon and Mint Mocktail which the waiter recommended as it is the restaurants best selling drink The strawberry mojito was very sweet and not to my taste as the flavour was quite synthetic, but if you like a sweet drink you would like it!

Visited yesterday after not being for a few months and Iβm sorry to see how much itβs gone downhill. It used to be a fantastic place serving amazing food with great staff but now you donβt get either. The girl serving us was more interested in the boys walking past outside, she seemed to know them all. We ordered the filo rolls, hummus, and the feast grill, with drinks. I had to ask twice for the drinks, they seemed surprised I wanted them with my food and not after?! The filo rolls were not very nice and were under cooked, and came on dry brown lettuce. The breads that came out with the hummus were also cold and barely cooked and had a ridiculous amount of flower on them. The Hummus also tasted bitter. I asked if you didnβt get the soup anymore and the waitress said yeah but itβs not warm yet? Didnβt understand that one. The feast itself was alright, meat was dry however and I had to ask, again, for the sauces. All in all really disappointed, such a shame itβs not as good as it used to be, there must be a reason. I hope they can sort it out, Iβll be avoiding it for the time being

This was a great dining experience. We went here for an evening meal. Experience with some friends and it did not disappoint. For starters, we ordered the mixed maze and 2 additional portions of kibbeh. The mains were a combination of the mixed grill skewers, one lamb shank mandi and the lamb chops all served with sides of rice fries and bread. There is no alcohol on the menu and we had the them in mint to accompany our meal. The top off this gastronomical banquet, we ordered the grand kunafe a regular kunake, a baklava with ice cream and some Arabic ice cream. It was washed down with some cardamom tea with mint. The food was delicious and hot. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. This was a Saturday evening, and we had booked a table in advance. As the evening progressed from 7 PM to 10 PM, it got progressively busier. But that didn't spoil the experience in any way. I will definitely visit here again.

The Arabic atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, though some dishes could use a bit more seasoning, so be sure to ask for additional spices when ordering if you prefer more flavor. They offer discounts for NHS staff, police officers, and children's meals. You can park on the streets behind the restaurant, and there is free parking available in front for up to three hours, although it was fully booked when we visited. We booked online for a group of 10, and the staff were very supportive in arranging a comfortable space for us to gather. Overall, it was a good experience.

This place is just perfect. The staff is friendly making it feel homey and the food was delicious. Clean and cozy seating. They also have a lovely outside seating area for when you are feeling turkish tea in the warm summer days.

Got the feast and it was a super tasty feast worthy of its name. Complimentary soup was given which was nice a touch and canβt forget the Kibbeh! Much bigger than the ones Iβve had at other Middle Eastern restaurants but very nice.

Took my wife out for Breakfast here for a birthday treat and must say, it was absolutely wonderful. We had the set breakfast for 2, and it was lovely. Something different compared to your regular breakfast. Everything was fresh and flavour some and the bread was very nice. Also the mint tea was lovely and fresh lemon and mint juice was exceptional. Would definitely come again...

Are you looking for an authentic Syrian restaurant in Leeds? Then, you may want to check out this little gem. We came here for dinner. Absolutely love the atmosphere and interior decor in this restaurant. The starter was absolutely delicious. We had a βfeastβ to share between the three of us. The feast comes with skewers chicken, beef and lamb. You can choose either rice, bread or chips as a side. However, we find the chicken was a little overcooked. Overall, it was a pleasant evening and a lovely meal at this restaurant. The restaurant is Covid secure, with all staff wearing a mask covering their nose and mouth.
