A funky bar, just off the main strip. Dogs allowed. Vinyl records are played, old school to. Outside seating, however can get busy on a Friday & Saturday night. Nice cocktails with 2 4 1 deals. No draft real ale.
Tried the pistachio martini. Spicy pizza and a side salad. Very tasty. We arrived about 6.30 pm on bank holiday Sunday, just before the evening rush. Friendly welcoming team
Apparently Google would like me to update my review. Can I do six stars? Best bar in Wakefield, only one even close is The George and Crown. Go to either of these places, you will not be disappointed

Ever since this place opened its always been a perfect little bar. Because that's what it is. Small. But perfectly formed. Excellent.
Lovely friendly bar. A small bar ran by a lovely couple who make everyone feel so welcome and at home. Fab selection of spirits and great knowledge of their gins! If you haven't been then you need to go and check it out.
