   Despite staff having no knowledge of a party happening they were upfront and transparent and whilst things didn't go perfectly (is the pizza ever coming?) they took all criticism on the chin and did the absolute most they could given the little control they had to affect anything. Above all of this the kids made the absolute most of being together, dancing, singing and playing games and at the very least we will always have a story to tell! Whilst unimpressed at poor communication and a potentially disappointing evening the staffs efforts made me more than willing to give them another chance.

   Would give 0 stars if I could Avoid at all costs had a party booked for at least 2 to 3 months.we went to the venue two days before the party to finalise everything and sort out food. didn’t mention there would be any problems with the venue .on the day They told us that they DJ was running late which wasn’t true as they don’t have a dj at the moment. They told us that there was a problem with the food yet again, another lie because there was no food so they told us that there was going to order Pizza, which was another lie because after 2 hours no pizza had arrived. As a goodwill gesture they decided to give us crisps and a free drink for the children. came with a box of chips we selected what we wanted and left on the table after 30 minutes. Someone from the bar came round and collected the unopened crisps and put them back behind the bar. Unorganised bunch of liars avoid at all costs.

   Only been 3 times but so welcoming behind the bar. That's often rare these days as is cheap beer but both were plentiful. Had a great laugh playing pool with good folk. Thanks Charlie's. Will be back.

   We dropped in to watch the footie on Saturday lunch time. There was a local friendly crowd. The server was very welcoming. Plenty of screens. Plenty of seating. Two pool tables with equipment intact at £1 a game. Decently priced booze and a range of salty snacks available. First time visitor but I'll be back. Glad I took a chance and stumbled in this place....

   Visited a few times now with and without the kids. Totally transformed the place. Great for the kids, having a pool, snooker and air hockey tables. Pleasant staff also. Love it. Tickets booked for October for the hypnotist night in their large function room, can't wait.
