“Lively pub/restaurant, visited on a Saturday so was very busy (would recommend booking if going for food). Was quite loud and a club set up downstairs, ordered food and cocktails which were delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend for some good food and cocktails. I had the bang bang chicken fried rice that was amazing.”

“Great little bar, plenty of ale and cider on draught so there’s lots of choice. Books with history on ale and different pubs all over the country. Great place to be in. Pricing is pretty good, there’s loads of seating and outdoor seating also for in the sun. The windows all unfold so that there’s a lovely brea3 through there during summer, with it being in the shade it’s nice and cool. Toilets are clean and industrial style with copper door handles. I love the design of the whole place.”

“Already being a big fan of the resteraunt below which is owned by the same people, this gem of a place does not disappoint. It’s fitted out to an excellent standard, easily as nice inside as some of the top bars in town. Beers on tap are brilliant, great wines and I’ve never been a lover of cocktails but the ones here are something else! The staff are really friendly and certainly know their drinks. It’s a great place for before or after a meal in the resteraunt also. Always have a great time here and couldn’t recommend it highly enough!”

“Everything is fine and the shop owners are a lovely couple. They'll even persuade you to order less when you've ordered too much, rather than having you order a bunch of food that you can't eat and pack it home. However, the location and decoration are general and not convenient for parking.”

A Small Little Place & Could See That The Staff Really Made an Effort For Their Customers While Serving Not Just For Us. Prices are VERY Reasonable at least for Me Since I'm Used to of Paying Silly Money Driving Up & Down The Country. I'm in Business Myself & Would Say That We Should Take Care of Local Small Businesses First in Our Communities & Use Them as Our First Choice Then Going To These Big National Chain Bars/Pubs. The setting is stunning, with such a stylish and welcoming atmosphere. Even the restrooms are worth a mention – so elegant and spotless, really adding to the overall experience. The only slight issue was that around 4pm the music seemed to get stuck on repeat, which became a little noticeable. Aside from that, everything was perfect. The staff were attentive, the service was great, and I’d highly recommend it for a special meal or night out. Birthday Celebration”

“Nice bar situated on Granary Wharf. Visited for lunch and try the food from BaoBros. Great selection of beers available at the bar as well as a good menu of other drinks. Food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Tried the pork belly, chicken and fish options with salt and pepper loaded fries. All stunning would definitely visit again.”

“Loved it! We did not have a reservation, but luckily there was a table for us (8 pm Friday night). The service was good and they were very quick. The portions were very good and the food was lovely for a great price. We went with the dinner menu which is a very good deal. Would recommend!”

“Came here tonight on are way home from brid to Leeds we had four starving kids in the car with us and luckily happened to notice this takeaway with seating area…. Wow best service ever kids got pop corn chicken and chips and donner meat wraps and me and my partner had a calzone it was the best calzone we have ever had… soooo tasty steak chicken donner and salami with extra cheese Zara who works at the shop have all of us a free drink each as we spent £50 and also gave all the kids a Lollie. We will be coming back again next time we come home from the caravan.”

“Best meal I’ve had in a while with the customisable Toad in the Hole! Atmosphere is stunning and is positioned in a quieter part of lively York. I went with the Welsh dragon sausage (homemade) which took my breath away. Gravy was delicious and paired with red cabbage for freshness. The whole meal was as comforting even in the heat wave as advertised! Would love to come back”

The staff were so friendly and attentive, one member of staff in particular was lovely and really had a laugh with us which made the experience so nice. Food was excellent and had some excellent vegetarian choices. The imam (aubergine dish) was one of the best things I'd ever eaten.”

“The best smash burger I’ve had in Leeds, possibly the best I’ve had in the UK. The patty and bun were served to perfection, nothing I would change. Hot fiery is the one I got and I’ll be coming back for more cos whatever sauce they put on this burger left me craving for another one, or maybe two! Make sure you get the firecracker sauce to compliment the fries/other sides you get, you will NOT regret it. Also I did a collection order through their website and got 15% off, can’t go wrong”

But, if you're up for excellent burgers, tasty fries, and outstanding cocktails, you should certainly give it a try!”

“We loved having lunch at The Botanist! We really enjoyed the meat and the dessert, but one dish stood out — the cauliflower! It was incredibly delicious! We didn’t try it this time, but we saw that there’s an option to pay a fixed fee and get unlimited drink refills — it seems like a great choice to enjoy with friends. Soon as a walked in the guys where amazing and great open space with big screens for sports and could tell was a real buzz around the place , then we looked at the menu and the wing platter was the one we chose absolutely incredible and 3kg platter of wings was a proper topper so yes job well done”
