Had a brilliant experience at Archie's Bar and Kitchen in Leeds. The food was spot on, properly cooked, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. Beer selection was great too, with some really decent pours on tap. But what really stood out was the staff. The chef and the barman were excellent, friendly, upbeat, and genuinely welcoming. That kind of energy makes a big difference. You don’t always expect that level of hospitality in a casual place, but they nailed it. It felt like they actually wanted you there, not just serving because they had to. Would absolutely go back. Great spot with even better people running it.
Nice bar situated on Granary Wharf. Visited for lunch and try the food from BaoBros. Great selection of beers available at the bar as well as a good menu of other drinks. Food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic. Tried the pork belly, chicken and fish options with salt and pepper loaded fries. All stunning would definitely visit again.
OMG the wood fired pizzas are amazing! Cosy bar under the railway arches with reasonably priced drinks, good service and amazing food. Can get busy at the weekend, would recommend visiting with friends on a Thursday evening.
Visited on a Friday night for dinner. The pizzas tasted amazing and the staff were really kind, we had a very good time there. There are two floors so it's pretty spacious. The atmosphere is good and it has many screens for football games.
Beautiful place just at the edge of Leeds Liverpool canal. Amazing atmosphere evening time. Night lights, water reflection, people, drinks, food just awesome. Food was good but not best. Enjoyed it with friends. Service was good too. Situated near to train station so easy access for quick bite.
Came in for work lunch. Hadn't booked a table and at first they turned us down (party of 8), but there was a couple on a big table that they asked to move (bit awkward but appreciated it). Ordered the pits burger on the Friday burger deal and some hot wings to share. Food was absolutely ace. Service wasn't the fastest but it was busy and there were about 8 of us so not bad. Would lunch again.
Lovely place. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious. The kid's menu is quite good and the portions of mac and cheese were quite big! I have not seen such a generous portion for kids anywhere. Ordered the halloumi salad with caramelised onions and rocket - it was divine. Others in the party ordered the 'what the cluck' burger and the veg burger. Both were very tasty. Will definitely visit again.
