We had a lovely evening at Harvey’s Westgate and thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The chicken burger was juicy and full of flavour, and the Americano pizza was perfectly cooked with a great balance of toppings. We also shared the tapas, including the spiced salmon, which was fresh, well-seasoned, and a real highlight of the meal. Drinks were just as enjoyable – the French No-Tini mocktail was well made and flavourful, not overly sweet. A really thoughtful touch was that, as one of our guests was celebrating their birthday, we were kindly offered either a complimentary mocktail or dessert on the house. It was a small gesture but made the occasion feel special and very much appreciated. Special thanks to the manager, Samantha, who looked after us throughout the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly, which really added to the overall experience. We’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend Harvey’s Westgate for great food and excellent service.

Very Nice, we were both coeliac, so I had the fillet steak and my daughter had the GF pizza, which the base was thick and fluffy. Would definitely be returning :)

Harveys is always a pleasure. Our waiter was really polite, enthusiastic and helpful. The food was lovely, I had the chicken burger for a change from the hanging kebab and can say I'd be happy to eat either again. The cocktails were delicious and were on a deal for 2 for £16 which isnt too bad. Not the cheapest cocktail deal around, but they tasted great.

We had an absolutely amazing meal here two nights in a row. The prices are very good and the food was top notch. The young lady that served us Wednesday couldn't have been anymore helpful and attentive, the guy working front of house was really polite and well mannered.

Not a review I wanted to leave. I regularly go to the one in holmfirth and sometime order takeaway from this one. It's been slowly declining and has now reached rediculos levels I ordered a chicken burger side of coleslaw and a side of onion rings. The burger which is described as double stacked with butter milk fried chicken brest but it turned up with one small chicken tender in a large bun. Please see the photos of whats on the menu v what arrived. Onion rings were doughie undercooked and compleatly unseasoned and anemic looking and half the previous portion size Coleslaw was again compleatly unseasoned and the portion size has been cut in half Called the resturant who were appologetic and advised they could do nothing as was ordered through just eat I asked if a replacement could be sent out and was told I'd have to order another one trough just eat and apply for a refund on the first one. I said politely that it was unfortunate as a regular customer that no effort was being made and that I probably wouldn't be ordering again The conversation ended there without any effort to make anything better from the resturant just lists of what they can't do. Got off the phone took one bite and realised the chicken was so over cooked it was compleatly dry and the bun was stale Chucked the lot in the bin and am now £22 quid lighter and contemplating what to cook which was what I was trying to avoid on my day off The fries were quite nice but very greasy Cheers Harvey's won't be rushing back lol

Great place to eat, classy building and the food is always really good with plenty of choice for all different tastes. The staff are excellent, always friendly and professional. They provide an excellent service, attentive without being overbearing and should be congratulated. First choice to eat in Town, never disappointed

I visited with friends for an evening meal and we all enjoyed the food and customer service. The only complaint was that the pork belly tapas was quite dry and the toilets are a long way down if seated on the top flood. Ultimately the restaurant had a really nice ambience and food was served to a high standard. Our server was excellent and I'm annoyed to have forgotten her name. I think it began with a K (Kaya maybe) and our visit was 5th December at 6.15. I hope that narrows it down as I'd like to thank her for being so attentive and accommodating. The manager was also very friendly. Great experience and I'd definitely recommend.

What a great surprise this place was. Popped in for a quick snack on the way back to the car after browsing the market in the cold. Didn't expect much as at first sight it looked like a fashionable wine bar. Ordered a beef sandwich and a fish finger sandwich. What arrived was a gourmet experience. Perfectly cooked rare beef which looked and tasted like a best fillet steak sliced into 1cm wide slices on really tasty toasted artisan bread. The fish fingers turned out to be lightly battered fingers of fresh tasty fish on a top quality bread The freshest salad accompanied both with a good tasty dressing. I thought the menu looked a bit pricey until we got our food after which I thought it was very good value. Staff were all great too Will certainly return.
