“Highly recommend this pub. They have good craft beers and the food by Marks Kitchen@The Shoulder of Mutton is superb. We have been a few times and always had a lovely meal. The sunday roast is one of, if not the best we have had eating out. Today we took 10 friends and everyone raved how good the food was. In our group they had to cater for some vegetarians and a gluten free meal but this was not a problem. To top it off the waiting staff have all always been very friendly and helpful. Our friend’s all want to go back and we will definitely be back soon. Definitely 5 stars”

“Went here to watch a football match. Sat in the games room, it was nice and had a good atmosphere. The drinks were cheaper than our local. Tetley's on auto vac to boot.”

“Came here to pick up someone from work, was greeted by amazing staff and lively atmosphere. We ordered a diet coke with ice which was delectable and also came with a plastic straw which nowhere else provides. All i’ve wanted for months now is a plastic straw with my drink and here has fulfilled me. I then went to the toilets, which were beautiful wooden doors and white brick walls, all was very clean and i’d assume sound proof. The only problem was that there were 2 of us and in one stall was no toilet paper, so while i was doing my business, i was getting shouted at for toilet paper. Overall was a great experience and it smells great too.”

“Lovely pub. Big outside beer garden perfect for a sunny day. Inside is a cosy, beamed room with a well stocked bar. Taller people should watch their heads!”
