“Great meal but a little bit flustered at midday for the first order it seemed… food took an okay time to come and was really nice. The offer itself meant that the 2 for 10.99 was reasonable since we were a group of four plus could add on for a small amount extra. Great atmosphere and lovely place to eat and have a drink. Great selection of other drinks and a good array of food not just on the offers menu too. For non alcoholic beverages there were a selection of mock tails or refillable diet / low sugar drinks available too.”

“Lived in huddersfield all my life but first time at the Fieldhead. Good pint of bitter shandy. Sunny beer garden with a great view and seriously impressed with the cleanliness of the ladies loo. Will come back but only if hubby promises not to accidentally spill a load of cold lager down my back again”

“We have ordered from most Chinese takeaways in the area and this is by far the best! It’s great food, really authentic and tastes amazing and decent portions too compared to others in the area. Highly reccomend this takeaway! And it has proper chow mein with egg noodles! We order directly through their website and have never had an issue”

“Came up from london and stayed in the apartments next door. As soon as we arrived the team were on hand to show us where to go to our room. The pub was great and really well run. Everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday night was great with karaoke! We had such a great time in Huddersfield thanks to these guys and will definitely be back to the boy and the barrel when we visit next!”

“Ok so late night, early morning experience,its fun and delightful. Playing a mix of modern hits and classic bangers that moves anyone nomatter the age or musical preferences. In short it may be a dingy dive to end the night but its a good end to finish on.”

“a lovely local pub, with excellent prices and good food for the price. we had a large group and all our food came out in good time together. the beer glasses were clean but the other glasses did have black bits floating inside. good drinks and really friendly helpful staff, just a shame about the toilets!”

“Celebrated my birthday in the downstairs area and had the best time. The staff were attentive and made sure we were having a great time, the food was great and drinks were brought out on time. Would definitely recommend as it was a great vibe.”

The staff were friendly, they had unfortunately run out of the drinks that we wanted so had to find something else to drink but we enjoyed our evening there. We were there Saturday evening and late Sunday afternoon after the ladies football, it was very quiet on the Sunday after the football”

“Absolutely amazing experience At pride yesterday I was served really quickly. The staff were all amazing and very helpful. A big shout out to Junior or Julia I think there name was that was working on the outside Bar went to them every time If I wasn’t able to get a drink from any of the other bars because of how busy it was and not only did they serve me my drinks quickly but they also made me laugh whilst standing at the bar and they was really entertaining to watch you’ll definitely be seeing me there again next year back to hull it is for me till next year”

“We went to the Wishing Well today for my 70th birthday that my daughter had booked. 17 adults,3 children and a baby. I was a bit apprehensive as I’d read some of the reviews about not having certain things The food not been up to scratch - greasy chips ect. All I can say is our food was perfectly fine. Considering that there was a list of different food ordered everyone enjoyed their meal. The girl on the bar serving us was very busy as she was on her own serving all 20 drinks. She really worked her socks off.and was pleasant all the time. She even helped serve out food when it was ready . Later on She even brought out my birthday cake Will be be going back”

“I just had one of the best experiences at The Saltaire Bar & Eatery at Leeds Airport. Not only was the burger absolutely delicious — honestly the best I’ve had — but the service made it even better. Elizabeth, who helped us, was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely friendly. It’s rare to meet someone so warm and positive, especially in a busy airport setting. All the staff were more than happy to help. There is a selection of gluten free / celiac options just ask. Beer & wine available on request , Prosecco as extra £. My opinion it’s worth it for a bit quieter and if you drink.”
