   First time and only time! Exceptionally rude door staff, who tried to intimidate and refuse entry to one of our group because they looked "tired". We said, busy working week as teachers and was told that doesn't mean you dont get drunk! Very confusing exchange and she was totally unnecessary in her attitude, completely soured our mood going in. The other staff taking payment was still holding out machine, asking for payment despite the door staff trying to prevent us getting in. When in some clientele were very drunk, falling about, barging people and yet we were challenged as coherent and stable footed customers. The toilets were probably the worst toilets I have ever experienced in any hospitality based venue. The whole area was wet through, clothes got soaked when going ro the toilet, you actually felt really unclean afterwards. Had a bouncer in there shouting at people, "I dont know what you're doing", "what you queuing for", "keep moving". Im not sure how else you are supposed to have several people access toilets without a queue, this meant that it was a free for all and caused chaos and lengthy waits. People were clearly doing other things in there too as in the 15mins of trying to get a disgusting cubicle at least 3 doors never opened despite seeing backs of footwear right up to the edge of the door! Will definitely not recommend this place to anyone!

   On 10th November, my group and I were deliberately refused entry at Leeds Viaduct Showbar despite having all valid documents and behaving perfectly appropriately. The security guard bluntly stated: “We don’t know you guys, so we will not let you enter.” This is an unacceptable and shameful excuse for a public venue. Entry should be based on rules, not personal recognition or biased judgement. What clearly exposed the unfair treatment was seeing several white customers openly admit it was their first time there, yet they were waved in without hesitation. Meanwhile, we — Asian guests — were rejected with no legitimate reason. This behaviour felt blatantly discriminatory and deeply humiliating. I requested to speak to the security supervisor and was deliberately made to wait 30 minutes in cold. As a guest visiting from London (Crawley), I was shocked to experience such disgraceful treatment. When the supervisor finally arrived, he showed the same arrogant attitude, repeated the same excuse, and offered absolutely no solution or apology. All security staff they treated like us as we were from no man's land. Their behaviour towards us was inhumane Being made to stand outside for 30 minutes and still receiving no help is nothing short of disgraceful. This level of rudeness, lack of professionalism, and disregard for basic human respect is unacceptable in any establishment. I will NEVER visit this place again and will actively advise people to avoid it. If this is how visitors are treated, especially people of colour, then this venue does not deserve public support. A serious investigation into the conduct of the security staff is urgently needed.

   Quite disappointed this time. I’ve been here loads of times and had a cracking night out. This time I booked the VIP package for 4 through a 3rd party well in advance. We turned up at 7:30 and were let in and asked to stand in the side bar and wait. When a member of staff arrived they asked if were checking into the hotel! When informed what we’re here for we were greeted with a look of surprise and if you get yourself a drink at the bar we’re still setting things up. Ok. 2 drinks at the bar we were told they were running late. The show on the info we were given started at 8pm. 8:15 we were taken to the VIP area (too dark needs better lighting) bar person was really lovely and chatty and we had the area to ourselves. There was no meet and greet of the performers. Show was ok maybe I was expecting something more but we had trains to get home and so we had to leave early. I’m going with a lack of communication this time round but I booked well in advance so we should have been expected and times need to be updated. We could have turned up at 7pm and been waiting a long time.

   Absolutely amazing experience At pride yesterday I was served really quickly. The staff were all amazing and very helpful. A big shout out to Junior or Julia I think there name was that was working on the outside Bar went to them every time If I wasn’t able to get a drink from any of the other bars because of how busy it was and not only did they serve me my drinks quickly but they also made me laugh whilst standing at the bar and they was really entertaining to watch you’ll definitely be seeing me there again next year back to hull it is for me till next year

   Fun gay bar in the gay hood of Leeds. Large space with a great outdoor area. Small dance floor. Fun mixed crowd. Have to mention that on the weekend there were likely more straight people than gay people including the men. Be careful who you cruise as I got called out by a straight boy who didn't like me checking out his friend. In a gay bar! The shows here on the weekend were fantastic. So much more elaborate than the typical drag show. Lots of fun just beware the gay panic of the straight boys.

   Went to the Viaduct Showbar last night around 9pm nearly fell over when I was charged £6 for a pint of cider! OK the place is done out nice and the drag DJ was playing good music but the very cute bar lad was on his own behind the bar trying 2 cope with a large group of people waiting 2be served with even the DJ commenting on it saying more staff were on the way after 10pm.Come on Terry £6 for a pint is excessive we ain't,t in London! U have some good staff so make sure u have enough behind the bar!

   Went to Viaduct last night as a group of four guys. Rob, the bouncer on the door, was fantastic. Explained to us that it was an LGBTQ+ venue, and wanted reassurance that we were able to be respectful of the diverse clientele inside. It was a refreshing experience. We went inside and had a wonderful evening. Have been before and will go again. Hats off to Rob for making us feel welcome, and keeping everyone safe.
