“Best Chinese I’ve had in ages! We first tried the fish and chips and were blown away by how light the fish batter was and has good the chips were. We then tried the Chinese food and I now have dreams about it!! Everything we’ve tried has been outstanding. Everything is cooked fresh to order, the staff are lovely and very professional and the pricing is very reasonable. The only negative is that it is right on my doorstep and I’m trying to lose weight!”

“Annoyingly quite simply one of the best takeaways I've had. I say annoyingly as we probably will never be back this way to eat here again but highly recommended. My peking chicken had fresh carrot, chilli, cashews nuts and bamboo shoots. Sauce was lush. My wife had a vegetarian curry which she also agreed was delicious. Fried rice was perfectly done. “We have only recently started using the Gourmet Chinese takeaway due to my dad wanting to try somewhere different and came across the takeaway by chance. We have had several meals now from them and have had an excellent meal each time. They do get very busy at times, so if you wish delivery be early or patient waiting on them answering but better still, we found it very easy and convenient popping into the shop. Please be aware that they are cash only and cash on delivery. Please try. im sure you won't be disappointed”

“Plymouth Miller & Carter as always, was outstanding! We go a few times a year and it’s always amazing. Nikki has served us here a few times and is amazing! Very attentive, couldn’t do more to help, makes sure everything on our orders comes out correctly. Nothing is ever a bother and she does it all with a smile and a laugh. Lovely meal for our 1st anniversary and of course we will be back soon.”

“Was genuinely surprised at how very good the food was here. We bought takeaway here a few years back, and it was nice enough but not outstanding. Then came for an actual dine-in meal a couple of nights ago and was amazed at the quality. I gather there has been some change in set-up since we bought that takeaway, and the meal we had here was pretty much perfect. Really beautifully cooked dishes with great flavours and quality ingredients. The slow cooked pork belly was fabulous, as was the sizzling black pepper beef. Dining in it was reasonable value for money. Alcoholic drinks seemed quite expensive (though maybe I'm just out of touch), and portions were very fair but not huge, but as I say the actual food was really exceptional. Certainly if Asian Bowls ever became a BYO we'd eat there once a month. As it is, we will definitely be back next time we have something to celebrate!”
