“We are regulars here at Ying Lung. We really enjoy it and find it's the best in Northampton. The only thing I wish they did was accept cards for payments but a lot of Chinese takeaways are cash only so this isn't unique to Ying Lung, and the food makes up for it!”

“My partner and I ordered some takeaway, and while we waited we enjoyed a cold drink. The food was exceptional. What impressed me the most is the way the young gentleman with glasses treated us and other customers. He was patient with us while we decided what to order, he made sure to put ice in the drinks we enjoyed on a hot day, the AC was on, he stored our takeaway in the thermos bag to stay hot. He was so thoughful and showed kind awareness of other people's feeling, needs and circumstances. Well done!”

“I’ve been to Peter’s Chinese a few times now and it’s consistently great. It’s one of those local gems in Milton Keynes that might not look like much from the outside, but the food speaks for itself. Their sweet and sour chicken is one of the best I’ve had – crispy, not too greasy, and with a tangy sauce that actually tastes fresh. The portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair for the quality you get. The service is always friendly and efficient, whether you're eating in or collecting takeaway. You can tell they have regulars, which is always a good sign. I also really like how quick they are – perfect for a last-minute dinner plan. Definitely a solid go-to spot for Chinese food in the area.”

“I've been going here regularly for pickup and it's a go to takeaway for sure the staff are really lovely and attentive and they are polite. The food is affordable and for what you pay you get more than what other restaurants give and the times of pickup is fast once had a beautiful takeaway in under 15 minutes of waiting! And the food was what you want from a Chinese and the best part is you don't have to lose an arm or a leg to fill a table and I guarantee quality. I can't give any complaints and the ones I see are give negative reviews from people who don't have the stomach for spice or Chinese food as I guarantee the food is always quality and even if you want to pay by card, it's best for them that you pay by cash and people need to accept that”

“A really amazing space and experience. Excellent myriad of dishes that cater for all tastes. Each dish tried was very well cooked with beautiful flavours. I think you have to walk around to take in all the dishes that are on offer before making a selection. The sweet selection was equally extensive with icecream and a candy floss machine. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It is best to book a table beforehand to avoid disappointment. There is a large car parking area outside but only allows 2 hours. There is no heating on that I noticed so it can be quite cold in winter months.”

“Came here with friends just before Christmas. They have an All You Can Eat menu which was great value for money, each dish is cooked to order and served fresh to us, it's better if you come in a larger group of 4+ as you can share more dishes and portion sizes are generous. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the restaurant was clean, we were all stuffed at the end of the dinnee. Would definitely come again!”

“We usually always order from The Pearl since moving to Kempston in 2017. The food is always fresh, hot & full of flavour. My husband particularly enjoys the Singapore Vermicelli. I normally ring them when they open at 5pm & ask for it to be delivered around 7.30pm which is never a problem. Have recommended to family & friends.”

“Hands down this is the best vegan Chinese food I’ve ever had. So many options it’s unreal! The salt & chilli chips are a top recommendation btw. They offer chow mein, rice dishes and plenty of main dishes. You can have a lot of regular dishes with vegan substitutes. When ordering, they always say it will take longer because it’s vegan and everything is cooked in separate pans to the non vegan food…this is music to my ears! Overall I’m extremely impressed with their approach to vegan cuisine and further more the food tastes amazing. 10/10 highly recommended.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed munching on the munch box, munching the munch box really satisfied my munchies. Spring rolls were nice and springy and gave the meal an extra spring which was welcome. The sweet and sour was both sweet and sour which really was great and what i was hoping for when i ordered sweet and sour because i ordered sweet and sour hoping for both sweet and also sour tastes. The crispy chilli beef was crispy and that was good because i ordered it crispy because it said crispy chilli beef. It had a hint of chilli with the crispy beef which i enjoyed and that’s why i ordered the chilli beef and and overall i enjoyed eating the crispy chilli beef. The king prawns were nice and big which must be why they were called king prawns because king usually means big so that’s why i ordered the king prawns and when the king prawns arrived i was happy with the king prawns. The prawn toast was nice, it was pieces of toast with prawn on it which was good as it said prawn toast and i fancied prawns on toast so when i ordered it and the prawn was on the toast that made me happy Chicken chow mein was noodles but i don’t know where the chow or the mein was but oh well it was still nice and on the bright side it still had chicken in it.
