“I went and ordered the salt and pepper chicken and when I came back home the food was still crispy and hot! The taste was magnificent, I loved it so much because the chicken was perfectly cooked and the flavours were on point ,would recommend!”

First time ordering here is my quick honest review. The food was immaculately curated with such care eating the food immediately made me want to order from the takeaway again. “Update: for our 2nd deliveroo order, we had lemon chicken, sweet and sour prawn balls and vegetable fried rice. My friend was impressed by the portion size of the chicken. I was impressed by the presentation - it looked beautiful. The prawn balls were great again and went very well with the veg rice. The delivery service was also better than the first time, as they put it on my doorstep as requested. My 'atmosphere' rating is for the delivery. Total: £22.50 -- Tasty Chinese meal for 2 for my first order from this takeaway. Great prawn balls - 10 in a light, crispy batter with tails left on for presentation, with a rich, sweet sauce supplied in a separate container. Mixed veg Chow Mein had crispy fresh veg and noodles in a rich, smokey sauce. Roast Duck Chinese style - looked great but my friend was disappointed that the duck was only on the top layer and the rest of the container was bean sprouts. My friend expected more meat for their money and topped up with some of my prawns. Prices: Sweet and Sour Prawn Balls £8.20 Roast Duck Chinese style £8 Mixed Vegetables Chow Mein £6.60 Total £22.8 + fees = £23 Deliveroo driver arrived on schedule and food was hot. However, we were upset that they ignored instructions on order and wouldn't leave food outside door. Instead they wanted us to take the food out of the Deliveroo box, so no social distancing at all. Great food but disappointing first experience of Deliveroo.”

“I USED to go to Lee's but not no more after Canton was recommended I gave it a try. Not only is it very good value for money but the food is of great quality. I don't have anything negative to say. The food arrived hot and early. Order was all correct, portions are good and the quality is very good, not too mention the staff are very friendly. Easily my new favourite in Bedford, can highly recommend. Ps the chips are the best I have ever had from any Chinese.”

“We tried this take away a few weeks ago and were very impressed with the food. My husband loves Sweet & Sour King Prawn balls, so they always get ordered when we have a takeaway and he commented that the ones from here are the best he has had. I must admit I agree. I think we have now found our go to Chinese takeaway. We have tried a few others but this is the best in our opinion. Placed an order again tonight 17.2.24. Tried some other dishes, with Prawn balls of course, once again not disappointed. Will definately keep using.”

“I've only ever had deliveries from Mayflower. They are pricey than others, but overall, I've found them to be the best that delivers to me in Rushden. The food is flavoursome and tastes good, whereas I've seen others use lower-quality meat. They generally leave me feeling like the money could have been spent better elsewhere.”

“Although my order was missing the chicken balls, when I called up the staff were incredibly understanding. To be fair, it was partly my fault as I didn’t check the food right away—I usually eat later because I need to get my baby bathed and to bed first. About two hours later, I went to plate it up and realized the item was missing. Even though they could have thought I’d just eaten them and reported it as forgotten, they were amazing and arranged delivery with the next available driver. They even included two extra fortune cookies as an apology! I was really impressed and will definitely recommend them. I’ll make sure to check my orders in the future, but I couldn’t be happier with the service I received.”
