I dont normally leave reviews but I was very disappointed. My food took over 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive for 4 items. When I called to ask what was happening with my order after an hour, after speaking to me briefly and with no apology, the person hung up on me. The food was bland and flavourless. Would not recommend here.
Ordered from Just Eat. It took an hour and a half to arrive. Chow mein was incredibly oily; Malaysian Sambal chicken was basically raw. Prawn crackers were yellow. 5* review on Just Eat but we put the whole lot in the bin -£30+ wasted. We'll never order from here again.
Ordered a takeaway with estimated delivery of 45 mins to 1 hour. Delivery took over 1.5 hours (after calling twice to chase). Food was just ok - crispy beef was chewy and not crispy and other items were fine but not the best Chinese takeaway. Not sure I’d order again sadly.
Although my order was missing the chicken balls, when I called up the staff were incredibly understanding. To be fair, it was partly my fault as I didn’t check the food right away—I usually eat later because I need to get my baby bathed and to bed first. About two hours later, I went to plate it up and realized the item was missing. Even though they could have thought I’d just eaten them and reported it as forgotten, they were amazing and arranged delivery with the next available driver. They even included two extra fortune cookies as an apology! I was really impressed and will definitely recommend them. I’ll make sure to check my orders in the future, but I couldn’t be happier with the service I received.
The crispy chilli beef was horrible, chewy thick and soggy. And I had some sort of mucus plug in my food which is just vile. Really disappointed as I’ve always come here but recently the food gets worse and worse, more bland each time. I always give the benefit of the doubt but I just haven’t seen any improvement in about a year now and each time we order I’m left feeling like I’ve wasted our money on a barely enjoyable meal.
Amazing customer service, really recommend. Was lovely and quick, especially for the big order we had. Even gave a discount to us for collecting and placing such a big order. Couldn't rate the service higher. The person who served us was called Abdul
Was ordered for a group of 8 last night at around 8pm, arrived surprisingly quick however received a chow mein rather than the vermicelli and it was the most flavourless food I think I've ever eaten
Food was a bit cold , the Singapore chowmein wasn't spicy as other places. The lamb ribs were the absolute fattiest and not cooked through ribs, lamb ribs are slowly cooked and take longer than other things just a shame we couldn't eat them. Nice rice though nice people.
My food was late and I was super hungry but the guy on the end of the phone ( tee ) customer service was exceptional 10/10. What he promised is what arrived. Pipping hot tasty food and an honest customer service. Very happy customer.
I have been going tiger lily for a while now. Have tried many Chinese in bedford/kempston but tiger lily is by far my favourite. Main reason I like going here is that the chicken curry has a hot option. I usually find Chinese chicken curry too bland but the hot option makes it taste so dam good. I also really love the chips here, especially the hot ones with the chilli's in there. Will definitely be ordering again soon.
