Lady on phone is really abrupt and a bit rude. Chinese food is good. Fish and chips are really poor. Used to be great but its just not the same anymore. Fish is not cod but whatever it is, its thin and tasteless. We used to get loads of chips but hardly get any now.
We won't be ordering fish and chips from here again. The cod was tasteless and the chips were awful. My husband couldn't even finish it which is unusual! Good curry sauce though!
Great Chinese Takeaway. Definitely our go-to in the area. Food is always fresh and really tasty and one of the few takeaways that deliver to us rurally. Decent prices too. Would recommend
Stopped here as hungry. Said they only do 1 side cod. The cod was acceptable just. Could have been better, but the chips was yellow. Clearly cooked a number of times. I have never seen yellow chips before. Was charged £24 for 2 x cod and chips over priced for what we got. Was a long wait for the fish but as I said the cod was five out of ten. Lady on the phone was very rude answered the phone by saying yeah then she hung up on me. Waited two hours for the food. First time ordering and would absolutely not use again that’s for sure.
Food was lovely. Definitely return. Would be useful to be able to pay by card.
AWFUL, ONCE AGAIN. It’s the third time I’ve tried this chip shop, tired after a long day and looking forward to fish and chips. The chips were dry, tasteless and rock-hard. The worst chips I’ve ever eaten. The fish was dry, tasteless and barely recognisable as cod. The worst fish I’ve ever eaten. Asked for lots of salt and vinegar as on the road without any - didn’t have either. Absolutely won’t be giving these people my money again. Third strike. Done.
They missed half of our order which was ok but when the rest turned up the chips were complete inedible. I called the restaurant asking for a refund, the guy was very inflexible and tried to make out it was my problem not his and that although we ordered through their web site is wasn’t his problem because the money wasn’t in his account. He even had the cheek to say that I was being rude even though I had to keep asking him to stop talking and listen to me. I told him I would leave a poor review and he said he didn’t care, says it all really.
