   I called to order set meal D small for 2 and the lady said did I say B so I said No set meal D and I can change the king pawns to chicken, she said that's fine extra charge of 10p which I knew about a extra charge to change. Boyfriend then goes to collect it and pays for set meal B and then called me and says he got meal B so I told him to go back in the shop and get what we agreed and ordered. I even had to call back the restaurant and tell her myself "that's not what I said but she seemed adamant that I ordered B. B doesn't even come with king pawns and that's specifically the dish from D I asked her to change. So overall very annoyed about that and disappointed as the wait time to get the order right took a long time and then the food was rushed and didn't taste good so will not be going back.

   The delivery staff’s attitude was terrible, and the delivery took an hour and a half — completely unreasonable. The pork ribs were extremely dry, tough, and hard to chew.

   We usually always order from The Pearl since moving to Kempston in 2017. The food is always fresh, hot & full of flavour. My husband particularly enjoys the Singapore Vermicelli. I normally ring them when they open at 5pm & ask for it to be delivered around 7.30pm which is never a problem. Have recommended to family & friends.

   Had an absolute feast this evening! All of this for £70 which is an absolute bargain compared to my local Chinese. Every item was fresh & full of flavour. The honey ribs and salt & pepper chicken was my favourite! Delivery was £3.50 which isn't too bad considering it was around 15 miles delivery. Food was still really warm, and only took 35 minutes. Will definitely order from here again when in the area

   Dont have takeaways very often, usually the pearl is excellent, sadly not tonight,.no rice even though she read the order back to me, crispy beef was covered with a sickly sauce not crispy but chewy hardly any ginger in the beef and ginger even though I asked for extra ginger and had to pay cash as apparently their internet wasn't working. Not good

   We've been customers since moving to Bedford 5 years ago.. tonight we weren't impressed. We forgot to add some sweet and sour sauce on to our online order so intended to pay for it on collection. However, we weren't told you aren't taking card. My husband walked around to try and find a machine unfortunately the closest wasn't working. Needless to say we had to for go the sauce as they didn't want to be nice about it, I'd of given prawn crackers back for the sauce but no. Also I always say no bean sprouts and my meal was full of them tonight!

   Have been ordering from The Pearl for a while and tonight ordered online. Then got a text to say delivery would be nearly 2 hours later! So I called and asked if OK to collect instead which I did. When I got there I asked for the delivery fee to be refunded and was told that this was not possible as they hadn't been paid for the food yet??? Got home to find crispy chilli chicken was far from crispy and the beef dish was disgusting and tasted like fish so was thrown away. Last time I will be getting food from there. £18 completely wasted.
