Really tasty, well-priced food. I had the Kung Po King Prawns with Singapore Chow Mein, and both had great flavour and spice. We were in a big party of 14, and they delivered the food in a really timely and well-organised manner, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.
What a eonderful restaurant food was amazing the menu was clearly labeled for allergies which made it easy for my dairy intolerant grandson to choose the portion sizes were just right you didn't feel overwhelmed by the amount and you didn't feel hungry after. There was 7 of us 3 children and 4 adults . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. The prices are really good We havr had take away from here and that was always good but sitting in was far better. We will be going back
This is a good Chinese restaurant with really friendly staff and a menu with a good range of options. There are dishes that you would see at most Chinese restaurants as well as some that are less common, which is always nice to see. They are happy to make reasonable changes to dishes for you. Allergens are labeled on the menu and we've eaten here several times with no issues with allergen cross contamination, even when we haven't specifically pointed it out. The building is an old English pub so from the outside you might not realise that it is a Chinese restaurant, making it feel like a bit of a hidden gem to me! I've visited several times now and will definitely be going back!
We collected a takeaway from here today. It was awful all of it. The food was definitely not cooked today it tasted old. The chips were the worst I've received from anywhere. They were dry and old and some didn't even have potato in the middle. I even for a surprise mushroom in them. All this food went into the bin where China red should have put it instead of selling it to me. Never again.
We had booked a table and it started to get busy when we arrived. We were shown to our table quickly and our drinks order was taken after a couple of minutes. Our drinks were brought out almost immediately. We ordered the hot mixed starter for two, which came out within minutes. It was very tasty and full of flavour. For our mains, we ordered the house special satay and a roast duck fried rice. The satay had plenty of peppers and onions, and lots of different meats. The fried rice was also full of meat and wasn't too stodgy or oily. Very quick, attentive service, the waiters were on hand as soon as you needed them.
One of the best Chinese restaurants in Hull you can also get takeaway wish you could get delivery now and again if you could get it all the time id be the size of a bus
