Ordered 2 x takeaway dishes: special chow mein & special fried rice and shredded beef in sweet chilli & special fried rice. Served quickly by a pleasant girl and reasonable price of £24. However, chow mein was bland and tasteless and beef was over-spiced, with all food being poor quality. Very disappointing, will not go here again.
If you like onions floating in water with a token piece of carrot, then this is your place. The onions didn't even make me cry, but the lack of cash now in my wallet does. The only thing that had any taste was the free prawn crackers.

Food was terrible 8£ for 8 small prawns and they soggy Crispy beef not surprising as well taste like cardboard. Chow mein is only taste of soya sauce. I can say avoid this place
Brilliant takeaway, it arrived a lot faster than expected and it was full of flavour. They even rang me to make sure I had received it as it was delivered to work. Prices are also great for what you get and those salt and pepper boxes are fantastic!!
Very sweet . Like eating runny honey sauce. We had 3 different dishes and all taste the same. The sauce was same . Very disappointed. Cost of it was so high , we were expecting some tasty food for the price. Or difference in taste between dishes.
Me and my friends consistently order from coltman Chinese as the service is always very good, when spoken to on the phone the staff are always extremely polite and helpful. When we order we usually get the salt and pepper mega box which is always good quality and tasty food that would feed me and 3 other friends
Worst chinese take away we have ever had! , we decided to try a different place to where we normally go after seeing lovely looking food on there facebook page but what a mistake that was . In the sweet and sour box every thing had a strange after taste, all the chicken was over cooked and the tub of sweet and sour sauce tasted off , the honey glazed chicken tasted like it had been cooked 5 days previously and then reheated please avoid
Probably the worst Chinese takeaway I’ve ever bought. Chicken was pink and raw in the sweet n sour chicken, the spicy king prawn dish had no flavour. The sweet and sour sauce was like out of date best buy sweet and sour sauce. The fried rice was reheated and nasty. To top it off my chips were burnt. Gutted :(
