Staff were lovely! Made a fuss of my 9 yr old as it was her birthday. She wanted sushi for lunch so we had a look and chose this quirky little restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and we were stuffed when we left. Cocktails were great too. Great little restaurant and we will definitely be back!
I’ve only just moved to Hull less than two months ago and have been trying to find delicious restaurants. I came across this one, and I’ve already visited five times in under two months. Besides the amazing flavors, it reminds me of home and brings me comfort while I’m living away from it. Every time I eat here, I feel happy. This place makes me want to stay in Hull
The food here is absolutely incredible! Definitely my favourite restaurant and i come here alll the time! 10/10. Even the evening services that they do occasionally are 5 star and make for a great date night for me and my boyfriend :)
Came here for the Filipino night with my nanna for her birthday. We both had a brilliant time. The food was delicious, and the service was brilliant. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Would really recommend visiting here:)
It's a very cute restaurant, intimate and small. The decoration is minimal but it's still a lovely vibe. The service was lovely, especially coming here alone - very welcoming. I ordered two different sushi and they were delicious and you get a lot for the price! Definitely will be back again!
We visited Hull couple weeks ago. Went to this place for a quick lunch and it was a great experience. We greeted and served by a lovely lady. Food was decent and under-priced!! The atmosphere was very “homely” and warm. We will definitely return if we visit Hull in the future.
Me and my partner always love coming here. Not only is the food absolutely fantastic but the service, attitude and attentiveness of the staff reflect that perfectly as well. You can tell the great people here are passionate about what they do and that's reflected as well in the food and the atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Had a really spontaneous Ladies meal with a few of us because we all fancied a sushi snack but the menu was so enticing and the staff were so helpful and friendly that we decided to have a full blown meal. Not only were we spoilt for choice on the food (and drinks / which we had a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic) the pricing was so affordable that we all had multiple dishes to share. The food was served incredibly quick and tasted even better than the menu gave it justice. 10/10 would recommend! Support your local small business and your expectations will surprise you !! Amazing food and service. Tom the owner is so knowledgeable and helpful. If you are unsure what to eat Tom will recommend. The food was well presented and was extremely tasty. Loved the Sake and Japanese beers. The restaurant is an absolute gem. You will certainly not be disappointed.
Another example of how Hull is up there as one of the best for cuisine by locals. A small but atmospheric environment and you're first greeted to two lovely people ready to take your order. The menu is small, but offers a lot of variety in food. All beautifully cooked and rich in flavour. For many taking it out is probably your go to but if you are wanting to relax they have a pleasant space upstairs with a few seats and even a 6-seat for gathering of friends. Great music selection for ambiance too (though I have a massive bias for Nujabes).
