   Moved out of the area for a lot of years prior to moving I used to use mayflower so I thought I'd give it a go, disappointed to say the least ,I collected my order only to find when I got home half of my order wasn't there, after a prompt phone call I was assured the missing food would be sent to me straight away 45mins later it arrived by this time my wife had pretty much got past wanting her food ! She hardly touched it , it was a bit of a celebratory tea and although she never said anything it quite spoiled the night Doubt very much I'll be going back

   Lately ive been ringing with no answer. Has mayflower closed down? Can anyone confirm? Online says open. Phone just rings forever. Best Chinese in Hull. I've been going 22 years. Food tastes great. Food has always arrived hot. Everything tasted as it should. Lovely staff. As for other reviews of lower stars, ive personally never had a problem. Be going for another 22 years lol. Added 2022 menu. (Subject to change).

   Never again! Ordered 2 beef chow meins & 2 spring rolls. Quick delivery & still hot but had a strange fragrance & taste to it, especially the spring rolls. Beef was an odd colour & chewy. Sauce/gravy was still jellified & the prawn crackers were stale. Didn't eat & won't return.

   The mayflower Chinese is my go-to Chinese takeaway. The food in my opinion is of a high standard and better than some of the other local Chinese takeaways. I have sometimes used the delivery service and the food has always arrived in the time stated and always been exactly as ordered.

   Food is amazing, the king prawns are to die for! Beautiful white flesh with no grit. No shrimps here. Also main meal dishes include chips or rice, making it very good value. Delivery has improved, was very quick. The lady Is not rude, but speaks very quickly. Go into the shop, she will give you a smile to great you. Very professional and welcoming. Also the chips....... fresh in the shop, wow!

   Owner (lady) rang me at 7pm to confirm order and said food was on its way. 7.45pm, still no food. Rang back and she denied ringing me saying she was too busy to ring, and again said food was on its way. This lady is very rude, will not be using this takeaway again.

   Ordered food at 8pm still didnt arrive at 9.10pm made a phone call to see where it was couldn't find address then re did the food for second delivery still didnt get here at 10pm didnt trust them.

   Worst chinese we have ever had...won't be using this place again... Special fried rice dry and cold, Beef chow mein and special chop suey really bland. Portion of chips ok. Curry sauce was like flavoured water.
