“Umi serves wonderfully fresh seafood and didn’t disappoint. I especially loved the shrimp spring roll and the salmon avocado seaweed with rice — both were flavorful, light, and beautifully prepared. A great spot if you’re craving sushi or seafood done right. Small portions as with most Japanese food so order accordingly. Staff were attentive and service was wonderful.”

“First time at Tattu but will defos be back. Has very good food and atmosphere. We loved our server Tayeeba who was very attentive and explained the menu well. We order the kung po prawn and char sui pork mains with sides of the wagu beed gyoza and the spicy egg noodles. All were a very good standard and tasy. To top it off for dessert I had the winter blossom which I’d recommend. Was very cool that it came with the fog effect. Would recommend.”

Phoenix was so helpful & if she didn’t know she would go & ask to ensure we had the correct information. A great asset to the Team. My Salmon noodles were lovely. “wagamama's food taste is good but i will say it's not like the actual korean authentic tastebud. took chicken options but they gave same sauce for both of the different dishes...no change. service was really good. you can pay in wagamama app from your phone and by logging in can get free prawn crackers.”

“Excellent sushi, some of the best I had in Scotland. Smallish sized place with some nice window seats. Staff was attentive and friendly. They kept the water coming too, a bonus on a hot day. Rolls were on the large side too, so quite filling. Well worth the stop.”

“First time here for a solo treat for myself, I was warmly welcomed. As I looked through the menu, it was a tough decision to decide what to eat. I asked for help and Tyson (my waiter) kindly helped advise me make a decision. Didn’t take long, service was quick. Overall delighted with my Ramen, I went for the Steak Takati! “Homely food and atmosphere. We had pork kimchi jigae and ttukbaegi bulgogi (what you can see in the video) which were both hearty and superbly flavoured. Very reasonably priced. Rice was perfect. Also they were very accomodstjng to my gf partner. Pop in for lunch or dinner if you've got a chance - you won't regret. Will be going back here soon!”

“First meal after arriving in Edinburgh, they are kind enough to welcome us at the last order timing. We ordered the halal option Chicken Ramen and it was delicious. The owner is also very friendly. Price is a little on the pricier side but the portion is veryyy big.”

“Stopped here at a cold and rainy day. Ramen noodle was delicious, we tried Laksa Chicken and Tantan Chicken. One of them was super spicy, but it was a cure to cold day, I would definetely recommend it. Ikigai Ramen is a cozy place to have quality food, but with limited selection. However, I would definetely want to visit again”

“Fantastic food in a lovely atmosphere. Staff were great and attentive, food was well presented, and it had a lovely vibe. The sushi is excellent, as are the condiments and sides. Big props to the Salmon teriyaki, dragon rolls and aubergine miso. Nice sake choices too.”
