“Visiting Stratford upon Avon for the day and found this lovely Japanese restaurant close to the city centre. It serves a range of sushi and sashimi rolls as well as hot dishes like ramen, udon and donburi. Ordered rainbow maki rolls and ebi tempura maki to start with - both are really tasty with the rainbow rolls topped with various sashimi and the ebi tempura rolls filled with large prawns. The kitsune udon I ordered is really great too with chewy udon and tofu - perfect on a rainy day! The genmai cha was served in a large teapot with unlimited refill which is another bonus point too. Definitely recommended to stop by for a meal for some welcoming service and great tasty Japanese food!”

“Went here with my dad before seeing the TWICE documentary and have also ordered from here on Just Eat before. Let me tell you it is the best food I have ever had in my entire life. The flavours are so authentic and the portion sizes are so generous so you never feel like you weren’t given enough. There is also an amazing variety of starters, mains and sides to choose from so you have a lot of options. We had the karage chicken and chicken gyoza for starters when we came here and it was heavenly. The mains were even better — teriyaki chicken breast bowl and katsu chicken. I mean it when I say it was the best food we’ve ever had. I could have devoured the entire menu. I have also had the teriyaki 6-piece wings before and they are also just out of this world. The atmosphere inside is also so warm and intimate, I really enjoyed how cosy it was. And for such delicious food, everything is so affordable!! If we had gone somewhere like Wagamamas, we probably would have paid in the range of £60-£100, but for everything we had it only came to £34!! Of course we tipped, because not only was the food amazing but the service too. The owner was so sweet, we talked to him a lot and learnt that it’s a family owned restaurant and can get very busy with both restaurant and takeout orders. I love supporting small businesses like this that really care about the food they make and their customers. Please, please check this place out even if you have never tried Japanese food before. It will be an unforgettable experience and you’ll definitely be coming back again. I know I will, I’m already planning when to make my next visit! “We've been here twice in the last month and loved it! The food is great, with several options even if you don't eat sushi. My favourite is the Katsu curry, will keep returning for that. Only suggestion would be to have a more diverse dessert menu. @acoupleondates (Instagram)”

“Stopped by for a late lunch on a Saturday. The menu is easy to read and gives an explanation of each dish. I ordered the LA Galbi with boiled rice, which had a great bulgogi flavour. The meat was leaner than what I find in most restaurants, and because of this, it was not too greasy, which was quite pleasant. The onions underneath the Galbi were a little bit undercooked to my liking but still a compliment to the dish, being quite mild in flavour. The other dish I ordered was the Agedashi Tofu. The sauce was more sour and vinegar based than what I was expecting, but I have never eaten this dish before, so it could just be how it is. The tofu itself was nicely fried and light in texture. The rice and green tea were standard to what you'd expect from a restaurant with 4.5 star reviews. The service was polite and pleasant without being overbearing. I will be visiting again to try other dishes on the menu.”

“Never fails to disappoint. Weve been using this place for several years, and we've never had a bad meal. Whether it's eating in, which is a lovely stylish decor and a nice relaxed atmosphere, or take away/collection, the food is always full of flavour. They always advise on flavour and the spice factor, and the foods cooked fresh so it's always as you want it. Always a pleasure to eat here, the staff are great fun and it's a great dining experience.”

“Came Thursday evening. Nice quiet and tucked away. Manager was very welcoming and ran through the menu with recommendations. Tried hand pulled noodles of beef and chicken. Medium heat was perfect and hot was a kick but not a killer. The dumplings were wonderful. Crispy on one side and soft on the other. Very pleasant meal and worth the money 100%”

“Some of the best food you can find in Coventry City Centre. Everytime I visit I try a different meal and they all taste amazing. Spicy Beef and Katsu Chicken are my favourites, but even the pork and fish dishes are brilliant too and all dishes are reasonablypriced. I've not tried the octopus balls yet but it's on my list.”

“First, the atmosphere is brilliant!! They’ve recently done up the interior again, and it looks better than ever. Music is calm and fitting - nothing offensive. Food-wise, i’m never disappointed. The portions are generous and quality is consistent. Theres also some cooked options for those of you not so keen on trying the raw stuff.. Drinks are lovely too. They do a nice white chocolate matcha, but if thats not your thing then i recommend a taro or original milk tea. Cant go wrong really.. Overall i think its a really nice and cosy dining experience. Feels so inviting and homey - especially on such cold or rainy days - and the customer service is top. Perfect for small families, good friends, cute dates, or even on your own.”
