After travelling for 4 months, we were hanging for some good Japanese food. This place was everything we wanted. Fresh sashimi, great sushi rolls everything was excellent. The restaurant has beautiful decor and the service was attentive. Would highly recommend.

Came here on a solo date! Delicious food. Especially the miso aubergine (although £9+ for half an aubergine is steep), the wagyu sushi rolls also nice. Randomly, the glasses for the drinks are lovely to drink out of, very thin glass.

We had dinner here yesterday and it was absolutely delicious — great value for money! The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. They even offered us two glasses of wine for our anniversary, which was such a lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely come back and recommend this place to others.

Our first visit and a fantastic experience with wonderful service, efficient and very friendly. Fantastic food, prepared to a high standard. A specialist in Wagyu beef, we couldnt resist the Wagyu Roll, we also tried the Avocado Maki, Dragon Roll, Scottish Salmon Sashimi, Grilled Aubergine and some gyoza. This was our test run and will certainly be back, highly recommended. For me the Sashimi was incredible, buttery melt in your mouth goodness. Really stand out service though, didnt catch a name, but a super friendly American chap. Thanks for a great evening.

Still the best Japanese restaurant in Edinburgh IMO. Premium quality of sashimi and wagyu. During our last visit, there was the “Best Sashimi Platter” (if I remember the name correctly) with 3 pieces of oysters plus 9 or 10 different types sashimi, on the special menu - definitely go for this whenever available. And don’t miss the eel rice as well.

I went with a friend who lived and worked in Japan for three years. She was so excited about the menu, lots of lovely food that she'd missed since leaving. Her descriptions and recommendations had me salivating before we even got to the restaurant. We were not disappointed! The food was fabulous. The service was excellent and the presentation was just beautiful. We paid £75 a head and it was worth every penny. My friend has a shellfish allergy and they were very accommodating, keeping our orders separate to avoid any cross-contamination. Highly recommended, booking advised. We arrived early and it was packed by the time we left. My friend said it was the most authentic Japanese she's had outside of Japan. Our sashimi was so fresh, the quality was exceptional.

We went there at around 8 pm on a weekday and lots of items have been sold out, which was a shame. But the quality of the food is really good and I saw lots of cuisines that I’ve only seen in Asia. The only thing I would say is that the chicken karaage tasted more like Taiwanese chicken popcorn, other than this dish the rest are pretty authentic. Overall, it was a great dining experience so highly recommend.

Went there for the 1st time over the weekend to try out this Japanese place, it had nice ambience to it. Only manage to try a few dishes as the dishes were generally more on the pricy side. Overall the meal was delicious and the ingredients used were fresh!
