   I visited Fava with my colleagues for our Christmas dinner and it absolutely did not disappoint! The food was excellent with generous portions, and every dish was full of flavor. We were a large party of 21 people, and every single one of us was impressed. The staff were amazing—super friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire evening. Even with such a big group, the service was seamless and warm. Highly recommend this place for both small dinners and large gatherings. We’ll definitely be back!

   Brilliant restaurant. Very nice decor, great friendly staff and delicious food. Good variety of Gluten Free options and very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend and will be back. Edinburgh was extremely busy with the fringe, tattoo and AC/DC which meant I arrived late for my booking die to traffic, I was so grateful they hadn't cancelled my booking.

   We enjoyed Fava! The service was very welcoming & waitstaff were great at assisting us with the menu. As a family of 4, we share the marinated grilled octopus - it was so tasty & flavoursome. I felt like I was back in Greece! This was the stand-out dish for me. We also had the dip platter & the mezze platter. We loved the dip platter. I would recommend ordering extra pita bread, though, as it only comes with one piece (4 quarters). Overall, it was very good, fresh & flavourful food! A lovely change from the traditional English pub food.

   Amazing place, such a good restaurant. Food was fresh, almost all the waiters were friendly, largely attentive and kept us topped up and checked in on us for drinks and food. The food was so fresh and lush, not over seasoned, arrived in good time and there was good portions to cost value. The gyros I did it get a picture of, but it was fantastic! Would come here again in a heartbeat.

   Beautifully decorated restaurant with an eclectic light shades. Waiters were very attentive and pleasant. Good range of mezze dishes and mains. Very decent portion size especially for the mixed grill and dips. Taste and textures were disappointing Pita bread - soft and fluffy! Calamari - thick cuts of calamari with a good chew to them. Batter was soft even on arrival to the table Spinach pie - well spiced filling. Filo pastry was soggy Mixed grill - enjoyed the larger chunks of tomatoes in the salad that was well seasoned - sweet, salty, and sour. The meat however was quite dry. The chicken was overcooked with a burnt bitter taste.

   Fava restaurant is one of my favorites now whenever I think about greek food. I have tried a variety of dishes and I liked them all. I recommend visiting it if you are in Edinburgh at least once but I am sure it won’t be the last time. Good service good food good place nothing more to say

   Just been for dinner at Fava Greek restaurant. Good meal with a bottle of wine. Large portions. Nice decor. Very busy when first arrived. Good service. Would definitely recommend and would go back in the future

   What a lovely Greek restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and decor, with welcoming staff that made us feel like we were in a Greek Taverna. We chose a selection of starter dishes which is always a great way of finding out how good the overall food is. It was very nicly presented and everything was really tasty. Not quite so impressed with the Greek wine but would just choose a different wine next time. Prices were quite reasonable.
