Fantastic dinner at Aizle - a little nostalgic given it was going to be our last time dining….. and still as fabulous as ever! Brilliant team, hospitality and food - every course was delicious and we couldn’t pick a favourite. So well looked after - cocktails were divine, wine choice top notch too / snacks - totally set the scene for dining excellence - thank you Aizle for some insane birthday celebrations over the past 10 years. Had such a great time at Aizle. The food was amazing — super creative and full of interesting flavour combinations. You can tell a lot of thought goes into every dish. The atmosphere was relaxed but still felt special. We did the wine pairing and it matched the food perfectly. The staff were really friendly and knew a lot about what they were serving, which made the whole experience even better. If you like trying new things and enjoy a unique dining experience, definitely give Aizle a try. We’ll for sure be back!
Wow! My favorite restaurant experience in all of Edinburgh! My mother and I also did the wine pairing along with the tasting menu and it was wonderful. Lovely selection of wines and every single bite of food was creative and interesting. Not an inexpensive experience but certainly worthy of a visit for foodies or those looking for a memorable dining experience. I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Edinburgh!
It was a good meal, but perhaps overrated a little. I had the tasting menu with soft drinks pairing. I couldn't tell how the soft drinks were matching or complementing different dishes, but they were all nice. The thermal comfort of the dining area was not very well built but I had the portable heater next to me so I was fine. In terms of reviewing based on value for money, 3 to maybe 4 stars would be my experience.
Fantastic experience. I came here with my fiance and we had such a great time. My phone died a couple course's in so there are a few photos short. We were taken too our table, our jackets were hung up for us and sat down with some water. The menu came out on recycled paper which was nice to see. Instead of a list of meals, they provide you with a list of ingredients which I loved. My fiance and I both had the tasting menu with matching wines. The food was amazing and the wines were paired perfectly. The vibe inside was relaxed/formal. The price and food was very much fine dining however the decor and music choice was far more casual. All in all we had a great meal, and thought the price reflected the quality. Would return again for sure.
Aizle is a very nice restaurant and is a lovely location to spend an evening in. I always enjoy tasting menus and theirs looks and tastes great. All of the dishes are really nicely presented, the bite sized moresels are packed full of flavour and the staff are really good at describing the dishes and wine pairings. It's also worth mentioning that the staff are all extremely attentive, very friendly and leave you feeling well looked after. Although a couple aren't great at pouring a glass of wine. The only real drawback for me was the small amount of wine that you get, less than you would expect in most restaurants and for the price of the night I'm sure they could stretch to fill your glass a little bit more to a normal level.
I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit. Brilliant tasting menu and matched drinks, the staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable on the food and drinks they were serving. The food presentation was amazing and very artistic. Stuart Ralston himself served our cheese dish which was a nice touch. I look forward to going back and I would highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing experience, brilliant manager with front of house staff that have been trained to perfection. We had the tasting menu with each dish described to us by the waitress & waiters. Each dish had delicious flavours, we were even lucky enough to have been to Noto earlier (a sister restaurant) to compare the dishes of both places. I have to say that although some ingredients overlap the flavours are different and are cooked differently. Highly recommended this place for a fine dining experience, and tasting menu is a must! Didn't get to thank the manager before we left, but thank you for your hospitality, an experience to remember.
