Sushi Daily are shooting themselves in the foot. The shrinkflation is abundantly clear as their fish is cut so thinly now you can see the rice clearly through it. I picked up £22 of sushi for lunch, looked at the quality and quietly put it back. Staff are lovely though but I can’t see this outlet lasting much longer.
Salmon and tuna rolls were fine, the rice a bit over cooked. However, the avocado maki was inedible, the avocado was very hard and unripe. Compare to other sushi places in Sheffield it was also quite expensive.
Even putting to one side that this is a takeaway stall in a supermarket, the spicy salmon rolls and mixed maki were dire.
Drove 30 mins to find this closed one saturday at 3pm. This was advertised on their website as a open. This company is not serious.
Really fresh and tasty.
