Soup of the day just like at home, chocolate brownie looked a little dry on the outside, but don't judge a book by it's cover....lovely and meltie-chocolaty once opened up :) Espresso just as it should be. Price perhaps a little on the high side, but if you enjoyed what you had, if the staff were really friendly, and if the atmosphere made you feel good, then everything is good.

The people that work here are so nice, but unfortunately that’s about the only thing this place has going for it. Almost everything is overpriced, so I got a sandwich as they seemed relatively reasonable. I had the Mexican chicken ciabatta and it was truly tragic. The chicken was mush, the whole thing was covered in this weirdly sweet sauce, almost like sweet chili, and they used American sliced cheese for some reason. Maybe if I’d known what was in it I wouldn’t have got it, but there were no menu descriptions. Just about the only “Mexican” thing about it was a few pickled jalapeños. Genuinely just a bizarre sandwich. It wouldn’t be so annoying if it hadn’t costed as much as it did. I think this was my third time visiting this place; the other two times I had a similarly strange experience, but I thought I’d give it one last chance since I was really hungry and hadn’t been in a few years. Overall, I’d recommend skipping it. There are much better places within a good walking distance. Once again though, everyone working there is super nice.

Nice atmosphere, lovely staff but service was a bit slow. Probably because was a bit busy early afternoon. I ordered Victoria sponge and never had so dry sponge ever. It was obviously old cake. I didn't want to complain but I won't back there again. £5.50 for dry Victoria sponge is definitely No No.

Great friendly, efficient service, delicious breakfast, and hot drinks. So good we ate here two days in a row. Cool looking interior, only gave 4 stars as some background music would be nice. Highly recommend the pancakes, chai latte and French toast.

Great ambience and decor, friendly staff and great location. Good tasted really good but £13 50 for a breakfast with only one sausage one bacon rasher, no haggis and a tiny amount of mushrooms is a bit too much. There are other decent Fried breakfasts less than five minutes away for less money with more food. The coffee was fantastic and competitively priced. Would happily return for a beverage but will eat elsewhere next time.

Very polite staff, great food especially Mushroom Soup . It's always busy and is a venue for dancing in the evenings. I have had breakfast twice here in two years and it is in the top 5 of my list in Aberdeen. Coffee here is excellent. The menu is diverse and everything is made to a high standard.

One of the few cafe's to open @ 9:00...(not 10:00), and you could tell by the crowd inside and out. It's a smaller, but quaint cafe, with nice window seating to gaze out at that rare sunshine and help seat the surging patrons entering at 0915! . Our service was quick, the food (eggs Benedict and banana pancakes), delicious, and the coffee, even better! We'll be back, next time @ 0905!

Super expensive for the service, taste and portions. Tasteless eggs, got a tuna melt, misunderstood the menu thinking it came with chips and the waiter never mentioned that chips were paid extra…£5 for a tiny bowl of chips!!! Stay away!

Nice place to rest a moment. I had a Chai latte and it was very delicious. They have tables and booths and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Orders under 10 quid must be paid in cash.
