Very nice food and the chef came out to apologise that something we had ordered had ran out. Making sure that was ok with us and giving us a free dish of food as well. Very friendly service. Was every quiet when we went but was early evening

Superb meal. Probably the best burger I've ever had, and a phenomenal range of beers, with abv ranging from 0.5% to an eye-popping 14.5%. My wife went for a selection of small plates and was equally impressed. The night we were in there was a DJ playing some great vinyl at a very conversation-friendly level. Staff were really chilled (in a good way) and genuinely friendly. The place feels like a real labour of love and hopefully it prospers for many years to come. If you appreciate good beer and/or soul food then we'd highly recommend it.

Had a great evening. Very friendly staff from the minute we walked through the door. Food was really tasty and portions large. Great choice of beers & spirits. Husband wasn’t sure which lager to buy but staff more than happy to let him sample till he found his own personal choice. Also extremely happy to discover Coffee Patron is back and they had it - truly happy lady. Looking forward to a return visit.

We dropped by here for dinner on a Friday night and were sadly unimpressed. Firstly, in order to see their beer selection you need to scan the QR code on the back of a menu, click the correct file in Google Drive which opens a spreadsheet with some drinks and then you have to click a link in that spreadsheet to take you to some other website that shows the beers. Needless to say this is beyond ridiculous so -1 star. We got some food and I went for their epynomous burger, which arrived barely warm and was probably the most boring and bland burger I've ever had - literally bun, cheese, meat and nothing else at all in it, just a bland sauce on the side. If you're going to give your name to a burger then you'd better make sure it's amazing. This however was bad even by chippie standards so -1 star. When the bill came, there was a 10% default service charge, which is a ridiculous practice that needs to disappear, so -1 star again. The staff were friendly, the selection of drinks was alright and some of the food was alright as well. It is a bit overpriced for what it offers. All in all this wasn't a great experience and sadly can't recommend anyone dropping by here.

Was at the Pop up at Murcar, Bridge of Don for the Texas BBQ at the Smokehouse. Five of us there, good food and plenty of it, an enjoyable evening. Nice setting also.

Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend. The place doesn't have the friendliest atmosphere we felt like we were not as welcome as we should be and it seemed a chore for the staff to serve us. Food cannot be faulted though.

The brisket is very soft, it melts in your mouth. But i dont recommend the chicken for the saltiness is too strong. The portion is satisfactory even for a huge men. The have variois beer also.

6° North/ Smoke and Soul is a nice little bar with a wide selection of Craft Beers, good food, and the closest to real Canadian Poutine I've found in the UK so far. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing food! One of the best, if not the best burger I've ever had! Also a wide selection of beers on tap. I tried the Boon Kreik and the Tastes like strawberries and both were great tasting and fresh. Friendly and helpful staff in a well decorated and lively setting. This is a must visit for anyone in the area.
