This place is now called MOKA instead of Jack’s grill. Friendly staff and very good interior decor. We had fish and chips, chicken goujons for kids, chicken for adults, medium rare steak. The place has a bar and a upper room for private parties. Centrally located in Aberdeen city centre so car parking is only possible in designated car parks nearby, nothing adjacemt to the restaurant. Good toilet and baby changing facilities. Order was a bit delayed due to prep time but overall a very enjoyable experience with yummy food.

The dessert was too sweet, the burger was really salty, however the sauce compensated for it. Great service. The cocktail was ok, a bit on the expensive side

Booked a table for 6pm, arrived ten minutes early and were greeted friendly and taken to our table. Had an amazing meal with deserts and drinks. Staff were amazing and really helpful. Definitely going back. Best steaks ever had.

I walked in without reservation at Jack’s Grill on a Sunday night. The restaurant team still treated me very well, though they were quite busy. I had a 2nd best Sirlion steak at median rare in my life, whereas I had the 1st in Milano 7 years ago. The house wine was good, too. Highly recommend to anyone with a good appetite for steaks.

Our first Visit to Jack's for lunch and it was a nice afternoon. We chose the lunch menu, 2 courses for £10.95 or 3 courses for £12.95. All 3 of us chose the Calamari to start, they were very nice, and had a nice crisp coating and comes with a nice lemon aioli. Mains were Dirty Mac & Cheese, which was delicious. 6oz Scottish Steak Burger, which was quite nice, but would not be chosen again. Steak Frites, was served medium and it was nice. Portion sizes are really good and only 2 of us wanted to attempt a desert. Waffles Topped with bananas, toffee sauce, and ice cream which was nice. Sticky Toffee Pudding Served with toffee sauce and ice cream which was enjoyable. We were both full after that. Disapointed that they only had 1 choice of the draught pints listed, but I'm sure it will be rectified. Did not dampen our experinece and will be back. with 4 bottles of Blue moon, 2 cocktails a diet coke, 2 pints of Cider and an extra portion of chips was just over £85. We thought it was good value at just over £28 average per person. On a seperate note, I don't understand leaving a 1 star review based on our experience and the other reviewers experience I guess. And neither me nor the other 2 in my party know or are associated/related to anybody at Jack's Grill. I guess some people are just not happy unless they are moaning and basiclly calling other reviewers dishonest essentially.

We were a (hungry) group of 5 looking for somewhere to eat on a late Sunday afternoon and decided to try Jack's grill. On arrival we were greeted by staff and shown to our table which was on the ground level. The decor was dark with subdued lighting. This was our first foray to a restaurant since restrictions had eased. There was hand sanitiser available at the entrance and track and trace in place. I had the roast beef dinner which was a massive portion and delicious. Others had the rack of bbq ribs, chicken burger and fajitas. All the portions were huge and everyone thought the food was very tasty and well presented. We had a few drinks too. The bill was very reasonable too. We will definitely be back

I'm not sure why I didn't have particularly high hopes for this place (perhaps because, as a vegetarian, I'm not exactly their target audience), but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. Vegan chilli hot dog was delicious and my partner raved about his burger with macaroni cheese.

The place was nice, service was good, staff were friendly. The food was good but quite pricey. We ordered the ribeye steak with Mac and cheese, the Highlander burger and fish and chips. The steak was juicy and tender. Quite average. The Mac and cheese was quite tasty. The fish and chips weren't anything special. The burger was great! I highly recommend the burger. It was flavourful and loaded with blue cheese. Would I go back? Maybe, for the burger..
