   We went for a family lunch today and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and desserts. Highly recommended the chicken linguine, chicken pie and breaded fish and chips. The hot chocolate was also delicious as was the tablet on the side. Service was good and all staff were friendly. My 6 year old even asked if we can go back soon! All in all definitely worth a trip.

   2 Stars On our 15th day of a motorcycle holiday, we arrived to a super friendly staff—that was the best part. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. A strong musky odor overpowered the building. The ceiling skylight above the bathroom sink left debris in the sink. Rugs looked dirty, and my girlfriend didn’t even feel comfortable using the shower. The repairs might be minor, but combined with the smell, they made a big impact. Dinner was fair. Great staff, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

   From the moment we walked in, Lesley made us feel completely at home. She had that perfect blend of professionalism and personality that you rarely find. She was attentive without ever being intrusive—always one step ahead when it came to offering the next drink, while managing to keep the bar spotless and welcoming throughout a busy night. What really stood out was her energy and banter. She didn’t just serve drinks—she created an atmosphere. Everyone at the bar felt seen and taken care of, and it was clear that her warmth and charm were a big reason why the place had such a good vibe. This was my first time here, but it definitely won’t be the last. I think I’ve found my new local—and Lesley played a huge role in that. I genuinely believe she has a bright future ahead of her, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her in a management position soon. She’s a real asset to Cults Hotel, and I hope her hard work is recognised by the team. Thanks again, Lesley—you made our night!

   Had the most amazing stay here. Staff have been exceptionally friendly. The room was large, nice, and clean with good amenities. The restaurant has been the best bit with an exceptional roast lamb. And the complimentary breakfasts in the morning have been top class. Will be making the 9 hour drive again to stay

   Had an overnight here the service was amazing the staff couldn't have been nicer the rooms were nice and clean also had some food whick was really nice, matthew on reception couldn't have been more helpful from helping with phoning taxies and recommended places for us to go would definitely recommend this place if your in Aberdeen

   Stayed one night here and had a pleasant stay. Double room on top floor very comfortable and cosy. Coffee tea and milk provided with some biscuits a welcome addition.Parking is limited but free. Unfortunately don’t allow dogs, so I won’t be a regular visitor.

   I spent the evening with my wife for a birthday party on the second floor and the service was quite disorganised, especially while serving dinner. The food was annoyingly small in portion and obviously less than what was ordered as everyone in the party had paid for their dinner. The food was cold as if it was prepared hours before the event. There were not enough cutleries for all guests and I had to get out of the room, ask for more and bring them in myself to distribute among the guests! There was not even a jar of water around. Very disappointing!
