just now New Unfortunately my granny passed away suddenly, and left her wee doggy behind. With Murdos being our local pub, we thought this would be the ideal place for a swift half on a summers eve, or a brisk winters walk. Unfortunately no dogs allowed β¦which was a shock to us all. The staff at the Grays, have always made our dog feel like a VIP, and gone out of their way to ensure he has everything he needs! 10* from us!

Called in for a meal without booking. Served by Tracy who was lovely. No wait for a table, although it was busy with a wedding or birthday party. Torrential was ice cold and went down well with our sharing platter. I could have quite easily stayed for more beer but was driving so had to stay on just 1 with a meal. Going back tonight for seconds.

last time I was here was really nice, was served by Tracey, who made sure me and my mum (who normally suffers social anxiety so we go out for food rarely) felt very comfortable and right at home. burgers and pints were excellent 10/10

Dropped in for a couple of pints and they were spot on perfectly poured, ice-cold, and just hit the spot. The place has a great atmosphere, and itβs clear they know how to look after their beer. Tracey served us and was brilliant super friendly, quick with the drinks, and made us feel right at home. We didnβt get a chance to try the food this time, but it looked and smelled amazing, so weβll definitely be back for that soon. Thanks, Tracey, youβre a legend!

Thought we would try the Grey's Inn as we hadn't been in a while, ordered the rib eye steaks, amazing value and really good, one of the best steaks I've had. Only grumble was the dottled old server kept coming up with our sides straight away and we hadn't had our steaks delivered yet, fine old wifie but pretty grumpy at the same time, walked away grumbling twice that she had to take the sides back. Would definitely return as the steak was that good and value for money was excellent.

I have just moved to the area and went in for a fish and chip tea, I have to say I've never had worse, the fish was double filleted, the batter was thicker than the fish itself. I asked for my dinner to come without peas, I should have saved my breath because it came with the peas, which I hate. I had a fairly long wait for this delight and did consider asking for a refund I did eat it and leave though, I was pretty hungry. Needless to say I won't be returning anytime soon. Such a shame as it's a really nice pub.

Came here for dinner with family, staff are amazing and friendly and amazing with kids, food was top class, and great prices. Had the most amazing service from Hazel and her team on our visit. Perfect for a family meal, catch up with friends or drinks next to in the bar. Highly recommend
