   They recently reduced their food menu, and let me tell you it is not for the better. The menu is unfathomably generic. Not only this but they got rid of the burger and pint deal on a Friday. That burger in peppercorn sauce was to die for. Not sure when I’ll next be back as a result of this change.

   Lovely little place for lunch. Came with a few friends and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the fish and chips, very light and tasty. Thank you Jorja, our waitress. Very polite and attentive, made our visit enjoyable. Will be back again

   I was here in this area ( work related NHS ) for five days and after being very disappointed with local food next to my hotel for two days then after a search on the internet found this restaurant/bar much to my delight, the ratings above are credit to the staff , restaurant and food. Most definitely a return visit in the future, many thanks for the delicious food and of course the staff and service provided.

   They try to enforce a 10% service charge...before you've even had your food/drink! I don't mind leaving a tip but I expect to taste the food and experience the service first... We visited on a Sunday evening. The place was nice and the food was visually appealing. My trio of sliders, a special of the day, wasn't great, way too much hot sauce, the beef patties were very tough and the fries had too much seasoning. I mentioned this to the waitress, she just laughed and said leave a review online. Friends who had the roast dinner said theirs was good. Service at the bar is very slow. It's also pretty expensive. I probably wouldn't return.

   Had a lunchtime meal with family, good food, great service and reasonably priced. Only slight blot was the thick chips on one main had a few black spots. The waiter was attentive and advised options for us of options which might suit us. Will certainly return.

   We ate here as we're staying at the hotel, The Palm Court Hotel. The food was really good. We had lunch before checking in and then we had breakfast the following morning as part of our hotel stay. The restaurant was very busy when we had lunch (Sat afternoon) and the order (two bowls of soup) took a long time to come, considering it was only soup, but the staff were continuously checking in with us and chasing the order. When the soup arrived it was well worth the wait.
