   Nicely presented and welcoming restaurant but unfortunately, in my opinion, exceptionally average food and therefore over priced. Didn't light our personal fires and many more eateries in the area with higher potential. Great shame. I had a very good experience in the same place Christmas of 2019. To be fair, 6 years is a long time.

   We had a disabled member, and the staff were very accommodating. Everything from ordering to drinks was conducted like a machine. The decor of the place is also brilliant. A couple people in my group ordered lamb, leading to the food taking 35 minutes to appear - which felt long after the front of house service had been so smooth. I was told that it tasted great. The vegetarian options however were fine, but not substantial or something I’d come back for. I would come again for drinks, but if you’re ordering certain menu items get starters or expect a wait.

   We have often eaten at Milton on the Corner and been very satisfied, until today! It was a Mother’s Day menu and the restaurant was busy as can be expected. Set Mother’s Day menu. My wife ordered the beef dish. Starters were good then a long wait for the main course. Even with a steak knife it was virtually impossible to cut through the beef it was so tough. We mentioned to staff and apologies were given and told we were not the only customers to comment on the beef. The whole meal was replaced with same choice and this time beef was better but still a bit chewy. By the time this was done I had finished my course so my wife ate hers alone! Desserts were good. We were given, without asking, a small discount on the bill. Overall a disappointing visit as we have always been satisfied at previous visits.

   The pigs on blankets nibbles were over cooked & had a v strange taste. We had booked a table for a family meal & were provided with e menus to make ordering easier. But when we arrived the menus we were given were different to the ones that had been emailed? The Food was ok but wouldn't rave about it. Service was attentive & friendly. Atmosphere was ok. we were in the back area which was nice & secluded but tad chilly. Can't say we would return

   Our first visit, popped in for a quick snack. Had goat cheese sandwich and it was very good and different. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and I would love to go back again. Definitely recommend a visit.

   We celebrated my mums birthday at Milton last week and the food was top notch, and filling. The cocktails were scrumptious as well, and the bar had a very large local and international options. Presentation of food and decoration of the bar/dinning areas is really charming and feels like you’re in a big city, but still creating a cosy but sophisticated atmosphere. A big takeaway for us was the staff. They were all really lovely, welcoming and prompt. They were very professional in their service without being over the top. We’re all excited to come back and try the new dishes in the coming year.

   I can't fault this place. The service was great and the staff were attentive enough but not bothering you all the time. The food was delicious, I had the steak burger. Really good atmosphere. We had a great time and will definitely return.
