   This is a wonderful pub restaurant right in the centre of Aberdeen. In fact, it is directly across the street from the Aberdeen sign. This used to be a bank, the building was built in the late 1800s and is named after the architect. The interior is quite large with different seating areas and there is free Wi-Fi and free coffee refills. The beautiful interior architecture fills the space up to the original high ceilings. There are large windows that let in lots of light. There’s a large selection of great food and drink. The eggs Benedict for breakfast is highly recommended. You order everything at the bar and it is brought to your numbered table, service was quick. There is a small outdoor seating area, which gets the afternoon sun. It has a grand exterior and uses the original entranceway to the bank, through four tall columns.

   Great atmosphere, a mix of yonger and older patrons, all friendly and respectful, good selection of beer at a reasonable price. Staff are helpful and friendly, the lovely Laura at at bar was kind, polite and great at her job. The waiter was also very good, finding my table, after changing my sitting arangement, without me having to do anything. I would definitely recommend this pub if you are ever in the area.

   Great atmosphere! loved the place and drinks but I unfortunately didn't have time to try their food as kitchen closes at 11. Anyways this place is dirt cheap but still holds value (seeing that this place literally used to be a bank). Anyways the place can use some jazz music or anything music actually to up the atmosphere

   I am not going to knock my favourite pub. It is Tuesday night and they no longer do steaks. What they do do are Gourmet Burgers. The reality was I was not really hungry. I thought I would enjoy a little faux company and pub atmosphere. Chips, a lot of, onion rings, a lot of, a fried chicken wing, a fried chicken burger, and a burger roll with lots of mayonnaise. I don't think it is very healthy. I usually prefer their curries.

   This particular building is amazing. Wetherspoon restored it very well. it has so much character specially love ceiling. The staff are a credit, polite and helpful. The food for the price is value for money and definitely hot chocolate is worth in freezing weather. The real ale is kept well. There gets plenty of people in across all age groups. Plenty of seating and nice atmosphere. Well work a visit

   Yes it is a chain but service and quality are guaranteed. Wonderful heritage building with classic interior. Lots of space and not too noisy to talk. Great range of food and drinks. Haggis Pizza!

   Really loved this gem of a place. We found it recently and went today for our 2 year anniversary breakfast. Lovely interior. Food is good and very affordable. Would definitely return for some more coffee and pasta

   It's a spoons what else can I say apart from the drink and food were so cheap. (Actually works out cheaper than a McDonald's). Great service, food massively exceed expectations for the price, and to cap it off a decent atmosphere...would definitely go back...I mean all of that for a snifter of £13...how could anyone grumble?
