   Fantastic meal for all of us, 2+1 toddler. Had the Sirlion mac n cheese and Glazed gammon meals. Wee one had the kids meal - chicken fillets, ice cream and a drink for £6.95. Total bill inc a prosseco and a coke was £60, which i thought was decent value as the quality of the food was excellent.

   This was our first time coming to this restaurant in a number of years and we were very impressed. We came on a weekday lunchtime and the food was amazing, lovely atmosphere with the Christmas decorations and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back more regularly.

   This is a beautiful and very popular dog-friendly cafe that I stumbled across after an epic 7 hours of travelling. The staff really made a fuss of our canine friends when they arrive and they really seem to enjoy the place. Fourmile was spotlessly clean and I was guided to a table. The uncluttered menu had plenty of variety without being overbearing. I chose from the daily specials menu. Pea and mint soup for starter and a jacket potato with coronation chicken filling. The soup was the best tasting soup that I have had in a very long time. It had the perfect consistency and the peas tasted amazing and were perfectly complimented by the mint that waltzed on my tastebuds just enough to let you know it was also adding to the taste experience but not dominating it. The perfectly baked sourdough bread mopped up the soup perfectly. One clear plate ✔️ Then came a large, fluffy jacket potato with a delicious crispy skin topped with a generous portion of the spiced creaminess of the coronation chicken. All accompanied with a fresh portion salad. I touched on the first class cleanliness and I have to credit the staff for the cleanest gents loos that I have seen anywhere (and moisturiser too was a bonus)! This is the standard for the WC's. Well done. All this deliciousness and change from a £20 note. (Well a small tip for the staff). Excellent and I will definitely aim to return if I ever wander so far north.

   Was nothing to rave about. Past few times it’s not been same so today is defo last time. Fish & chips cremated batter/dry fish. Partner had mornay & his roast potatoes were also cremated. Think old fat too. My grandchild had the haddock but not edible as so overdone that batter was crunchy. I had the chicken chilli fillets with rice and it was nice but overall disappointing for what it cost.

   Good local restaurant that felt like dining in someone's home. A comfortable setting for the family and the ambiance is nice given you'd likely be hearing alot of laughter and singing of birthday songs by other tables which would indicate this restaurant as a place where you'd celebrate a special occasion. Food is simple, executed with earnestness and warms the soul.

   Food seemed to be made using the cheapest ingredients. Juice from concentrate, roast potatoes and chips from frozen. Could do the same meal from the frozen section at Tesco. Service wasn't great, lots of new staff who didn't know what the kitchen or bar had.

   Well went here last week with my friend got lunch and won't be rushing back, the chips were greasy and overcooked and had a odd taste, the salad that arrived looked very sparce and very little dressing so really was not a great experience, even got the smallest piece of fudge which was nice but extremely small the size of your pinky wow was expecting a better menu and service was ok. Won't be back shame as it's a nice place inside.

   I like this place and the food is of a high quality. Today I didn't enjoy the chips as well as usual but the rest of the meal was good. The waiting staff are attentive without being intrusive and made sure that a Coeliac dinner was well catered for. Also today it was very noisy and at one point a dog was barking loudly. Saying that I would definitely recommend a visit as you can have coffees and light meals as well .

   The food at the Fourmile was rather delicious indeed. My tart was a real highlight, as was my haddock and chips. My dining partner’s millionaire dessert tart was to die for and the service from our waitress was second to none. Polite and friendly staff offered their recommendations and were very attentive without being invasive which I loved. A brilliant wee (well not to wee) eatery with plenty of service with a smile.

   Visited here for my 21st Birthday, out of everywhere in the city I wanted to choose here for my birthday tea. Upon arriving it looked a very modern, quiet restaurant with a modern seating area outside. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who showed us to our table, the menu was fantastic from goujons, macaroni, burgers to salads it certainly fits all! I had the chicken goujons and they were fantastic, with some homemade onion rings it went down a treat. The inside is rather cosy, homely with a nice ambiance they have the restaurant area, big parties area and funeral tea areas so its all separate and makes it quiet rather than noisy. Our dinner came out in no time, all homemade and fantastic, only slight let down was the desert menu not alot of selection and all deserts above £5 which is pricey. I however had a fantastic churro desert (small but very nice), warm churros, chocolate sauce, cream as well it was delightful. For a first visit it was great, certainly will re visit again loved it, great birthday meal.
