An absolute gem in Aberdeen. A brilliant Eastern European escape with fantastic food. The service was exceptional. I will be back and will recommend this place to everyone.

Only Eastern-Europeans can truly understand the warmth you get from entering a restaurant that is decorated and kept the way Goulash is. We could not wait for having a proper beef goulash and loved what we received. We followed that with a selection of Hungarian cakes and to complete our experience, we were invited to the basement shop offering eastern-european products, of which many were Czech, so we happily made a little shopping of our most favourite and missed treats. Welcoming and friendly service from the lovely owners. Thank you for the dining experience that felt like home.

Whenever we have the chance to be in Aberdeen, we always stop by the restaurant Gulash for the delicious food served by the friendly staff. Both the starters and the main courses are generous and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

Fun and filling evening. Lots of authentic options including Hungarian wine and beers. They have a little spice shop downstairs too.

We had a great meal at Goulash! The food was delicious and authentic Hungarian. I highly recommend the goulash soup, the chicken paprikas, and, especially, the beef goulash. The restaurant is a hidden gem, on Adelphi, just a few steps off Union St. Itβs actually just behind the Maritime Museum. The owners were very friendly and answered all of our questions. Their wine selection paired very well with the meals, too. The desserts were also fantastic.

Absolutely wonderful little restaurant serving authentic homemade hungarian food. Delicious meals. We have tried almost the whole menu and ecery dish is 10/10. Our personal favourites are the mustard chicken, and traditional goulash, and or the trappista cheese. For desert we love the strawberry jam pancakes with custard. This is easily our favourite restaurant in all of Aberdeen! We highly recommend you try this place too :)

Absolutely amazing Gem in Aberdeen. Ate there twice in a row during our stay. Everything we got was delicious including Meatballs, Chicken pancake, Hungarian Coffee and of course the goulash. This is a must try with itβs home like, cozy atmosphere. You will not be disappointed.

What a true gem this place is! It's like you are time travelling to Hungary in the 1980s. Everything is original vintage and I would not want to have it any different. The food was so good - deep fried meatballs with blueberry jam and the beef goulash. Service friendly and welcoming. Perfect food for autumn and winter.

I went here with a few friends during a recent trip to Aberdeen. We all loved the place. I think we were served by the owner, who was very welcoming and offered fantastic service. The food was delicious and very good value. I would have gone back again if it hadn't been my last night in Aberdeen. It was a nice atmosphere and we spent quite a bit of time there. My only advice would be to arrive very hungry.
