   After a touch of food poisoning, stomach cramps and diarrhea. I wanted to talk to the takeaway about the issue out of respect rather than report it to local health and safety authority, as advised. I have eaten here for decades without a problem, always enjoyed my food, the best in Aberdeen hands down. But the experience of my phone call has turned that view on its head. I called asking to speak to the owner, was told he wasn't there but they could still help. I said what had happened, cup of tea for breakfast, can of monster and crisps for lunch break at work so that I could enjoy my meal that night. From that point on I couldn't get a word in. I got we never had this problem before, we always clean and fresh food. How dare I say such things. Basically told I was lying. Was asked what I had, was asked for my number and that I would have a return call from manager. Then phone was slammed down on me. This to date has never happened. The sad thing is, this could have been caused by something like a dodgy prawn or piece of veg in the meal that I was looking forward to, my meal of canton special fried rice, barbeque spare ribs, barbeque sauce and chips. As always. It's clear as daylight that they don't know how to handle or deal with criticism or negative customers feedback. Extremely unprofessional handling of my situation, have now lost a loyal customer of decades because of this one person I tried to talk to, but with response I got from this individual representing them, the canton clearly doesn't value loyal customers. I have now reported the issues and left it in the hands of Aberdeen city council commercial health and hygiene department to deal with. I wanted to give 0 stars but was forced to pick 1.

   Our regular was shut so we decided to give this a try. Staff were friendly but unfortunately half of what we had we wouldn't order again. Noodles were delicious though

   They say never judge a book by its cover, same here, doesn't look much from the outside but the service and food is outstanding,drive past many other food outlets to go here, never been let down in years. Update, they have revamped the place and it looks really nice now with big glass walls so you can see how clean it is inside and how many people are in there, really good and everything else is as described above, first class place.

   Guy that runs canton house is so friendly and welcoming! We always go here if we want a Chinese, best in Aberdeen! Chicken fried rice and curry sauce is absolutely delicious and the sesame chicken starter is amazing! Even gets a thumbs up from our 7year old daughter. Most chicken fried rice from other Chinese is cubes of chicken but from canton house it is proper strips of fresh chicken . 100%recommend

   Best Chinese we have ever had, the only place we go to! Highly reccommend the prawn toast and the huge spring rolls are to die for. Charlie is lovely and always accommodates your order to exact precision. Great place.

   Our favourite Chinese take away, in the world. :-) Been going there for over 20 year's never had a bad meal once. Family run business ,Charlie remembers all their customer's. This year though they had a change of chef, oh oh! Sounds worrying ? Nope they have made the best even better ! Always busy not the fastest but the best is always worth the wait we always say. They don't do deliveries which is a plus as you get the food at its very best when you leave and not half an hour later from a driver who gets lost getting to you. Alway liked their Chicken pineapple. But with their new chef love it 10 out of 10 guys 5 star cya soon :-)
