One of Aberdeen's hidden gems. Excellent selection of delicious Spanish and Mexican dishes. Service is friendly and professional and they serve the best Margarita I have had in Aberdeen. Highly recommend.

Ok Mexican with a warm welcome and friendly staff ... Not very busy considering it was 7pm Food is nice but I've had a lot better Mexicans and they couldn't tailer my burrito as they are pre made hense why the tortia was hard and tor apart. Ok restaurant but won't be in a hurry to return

Second time coming to this restaurant with the first time being a couple of years ago. Absolutely incredible. It is unique, it is delicious, it is filling, the staff are lovely, it's got it all. We got seated immediately, and were served within a few minutes. The drink options were good and the food was served hot and fresh within around 15 minutes. I had the chicken and chorizo paella and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. Great portion size, great temperature, incredible flavour, fresh. 10/10 My girlfriend has the steak tacos and also rated them highly and spoke of them for the next two days. Will absolutely be going back to try more on the menu, well done to the staff there. We had a wonderful visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking to try something authentic or simply wanting good food in a restaurant that isn't part of a large chain.

I’m actually gutted to be writing a negative review, as I really don’t enjoy doing them. But Dos Amigos just didn’t live up to the hype. It’s tucked away down a bit of a sketchy looking road, even though it’s just off one of the main streets in town. From the outside, the building does look the part, like a charming little Spanish restaurant, which I appreciated. But once inside, the stairs going up to the toilets (and the toilets themselves) were pretty rough and really need some attention. The main restaurant area sticks to the Spanish theme, but it just felt dated. Like it maybe had a nice vibe once, but could do with a refresh. I’d heard loads of good things about the food, which is what brought me here. But honestly, only a couple of the dishes really stood out. The steak burrito in particular was a let down, overcooked and so piping hot it felt like it had been through a microwave (Chef Mike might’ve had a hand in that one). Flavour wise, it wasn’t awful, there were some nice bits, but overall, it just didn’t hit the way I was expecting. We were in and out in about 30 minutes, which says a lot considering how much food we ordered. If that doesn’t scream microwave, I don’t know what does.

I was here for a family birthday party and they offered a set menu of arrival drinks & nibbles, selection of tapas and then finished off with fajitas and paella, It was all laid out so well, the food was delicious and in my favourite format of helping yourself. Dos Amigos is a family run restaurant in the centre of Aberdeen, its a really warm & cosy restaurant perfect for any special occasion, the staff are so friendly & go above and beyond to make your experience one to remember. I have never thought about trying Spanish cuisine before, so having the chance to try a little bit of everything really makes me want to try some more!

Booked for a large family meal and the restaurant could not have been more accommodating. The service was amazing, super attentive without being intrusive. All of the food arrived together, piping hot and of really high quality. Can not recommend enough! Ten out of ten!

Convinced to come here by a friend who has already become a regular despite it having not long been opened. The owner was very friendly as were the staff. Food was very good and had a homemade feel about it.

Absolutely lovely. Decor is so perfect. Has a fun bright Mexican restaurant decor vibe but in a classy and elegant way. The service was superb. We got the feeling the employees really cared about their jobs and enjoy working here. Really truly a great experience. The space is small and warm, giving it a feeling of intimacy which really has a nice contrast to the bright colored seating.
