Excellent quality food for the price. We had a lovely starters, Mains and dessert. We were a large party and they accommodated us.

Absolutely delicious food, with lots of choice, we all went for the roast, many side dishes included which you pay extra for anywhere else. The service by Callum, Amanda and another young lady was spot on, nothing was too much trouble. All in all, great venue, delicious food and great service, I’m proud to call you my local!!

I don't think it's been open as "The Moody Cow" for very long but the food was awesome. We had a table of 12, the service was a bit hap hazard at times but 90% ok. They have a habit of dropping everything to serve people coming in which results in a cup of tea being delivered and then a 5 min wait for milk to put in your cold tea. Or the meat and stuffing coming out and a wait for the veg. It wasn't the end of the world and I'm sure they'll nail it very quickly as everything else was spot on. The staff were friendly and helpful just easily distracted by new arrivals. I would absolutely recommend it for a Sunday lunch as we all without fail enjoyed it. It's not cheap, it's not too expensive but it is good value and good quality. If there was a good based gripe then it's that Two veg boards for 12 people was a stretch and we didn't all get everything. But give it a shot it's really nice.

Went for works do. The food was fantastic, Josh and his amazing chef were able accommodate all my dietary requirements and the amazing platter of different food was fantastic! It was all really delicious but the pie was the best I've had. Thank you so much for going to so much trouble.

Nice little pub, was a bit busy for our first visit but luckily we had a table booked. Very first and friendly service at the bar. The price of food is a little expensive but definitely worth the price with the amount and presentation you get.

Went to the carriage house as a large group of 18 people, they accommodated to us all amazingly. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, all brilliant! Could not recommend highly enough.

It's years and years since I've been inside The Carriage House! The Dad & Son Tuesday beer night tried out this venue for a change and given the number of large TV screens inside the large, open back room & bar the Son obviously fancied keeping an eye on the World Cup football match - France v Australia. So, beer OK.....not much choice on the hand pumps, though that standby Landlord was on. There was Camden Pale Ale on the lit pumps and several others. The Landlord was in good condition. There was hardly anyone in the large room and the front bar was closed and in darkness....so the big room it was. We both kept an eye on the match. You couldn't really get away from it! The TVs were on silent with commentary on Radio 5 Live but we enjoyed the music and our beer. Don't know about the food as there wasn't any on..... 3 stars at the moment....it was OK for a first visit....

Booked for Sunday lunch and it was a great experience, we had a table of 6. The food was amazing, pictured is the lamb. They then bring out a board of extras Cauli cheese Roasted potatoes Roasted parsnips Vegetable mash Red cabbage Veggies and stuffing balls. Well worth a visit and it's a steal for the cost. We're going to visit again for steak night.
