   Incredible food, service and venue! Nuovo hosted our Christmas party two days ago and this restaurant did not disappoint. The cocktails and wine selections were fantastic. We had a tapas style menu, with portion sizes and choices of dishes were amazing! Every single dish was delicious. A huge kudos to the waiters and Stuart who have created an Italian gem in Northampton. Thank you.

   9 of us went for our work Christmas lunch. It was tapas style, but the portions were of a decent size. The food was prompt and delicious. Our server was lovely, professional and attentive. Has a really nice vibe in the restaurant. Couldn't find fault at all.

   This was my first visit to Nuovo, and I am impressed. I first saw the menu online and noticed the carbonara had guanciale in it. When I arrived, I checked with the waitress, as I’ve been burned before by “guanciale” that ended up being pancetta, however, the carbonara was in fact guanciale which is rare! The food comes as small plates (cicchetti) and we ordered 6 savoury plates in total which was enough for 2 people. The food was tasty, and the waitress was super attentive. We also had a dessert each, and both plates were delicious. The only thing I noticed, there was a bizarre smell when we first arrived, it wasn’t strong but enough to notice it. Even so, I will be returning again!

   Transported to a special little slice Italy The people, lighting and, of course, the food were by far the best dining experience I’ve had in Northamptonshire (and beyond). We were welcomed by the owner, Stewart, as soon as we came through the door. Our waiter Charlie, suggested the best combination of small plates based on our preferences and each dish was amazing. A twist on classics that made each feel reinvented. Multiple staff members checked up on us throughout the night with genuine care and conversation. Each dressed impeccably. Experience it for yourself.

   The best restaurant in the whole of Northamptonshire! I have been here a lot and every new person that comes with me is also blown away by this place. The food is incredible and quick to come out. Such a good variety. Tapas style so things come out as they’re done. The service is always outstanding, quick and attentive. Taking empty plates, refilling drinks, etc.

   Liked the idea of Italian tapas so we came here one evening on a trip away. They managed to accommodate us without a booking. We had a bread basket, good selection and the olive oil was amazing quality. The parma ham and salami was the highlight of the antipasto. The gnocchi was rich, bubbly and creamy. The belly pork was super tasty, celeriac puree could have been warmer. Arancini crunchy and moist. Calzone tasty but didn't feel like authentic pizza dough. Wine was good, although percentage on the bottle wasn't as advertised. Overall a great experience. Why choose pasta or pizza when you can have both?
