Been to the Plough in Shutlanger a couple of times (for Sunday lunch and a week day evening meal) over the last month. Fabulous food and good service. Whilst everything was delicious I can particularly recommend the awesome nut roast and legendary sticky toffee pudding.

Absolutely lovely place! Lovely people working there. I was driving on the road coming towards the pub when I hit a pothole and got a flat tyre late at night. Pulled in and asked if I could keep my car overnight until it got fixed, no issue from them at all. In the morning, got greeted by the lovely owner and they made me a nice coffee while I waited for my car to get fixed. I'm so grateful for the kindest and warm welcoming I received. Thank you so much for all you did! I'll definitely be back to try the food and drinks here.

We were lucky to find a table at 12.30 on a Sunday - make sure to book! We were so grateful that the lovely staff squeezed us in despite how busy it was. We sat in the bar area where dogs are allowed. The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious with lovely fluffy yorkshires. Our dog even got her own portion of scraps which she loved! We shared the autumn crumble and mini cheesecake for dessert - both really tasty. We’ll definitely be back :)

Me and my partner finished our dance lesson up the road and popped in on the off chance they were serving food past 8pm. The gentlemen I spoke to was friendly and inviting, our dog also was allowed in. The food looked lovely and tasted great! the gin cocktail I had was great. The local atmosphere was great. Definitely a lucky find!

I was looking for a good restaurant off the M1 and couldn’t have a better meal. This place is a little gem. The food was exquisite, delicious and fresh. The staff were lovely as well. I’d go again anytime, and highly recommend.

We have been meaning to check this place out for a couple of years now and finally got round to it on my birthday this year. We were not disappointed. The service was fantastic. The staff are very attentive. This is a small intimate setting. Very beautifully laid out. Attention to detail is spot on. The food was delicious. My husband and I had no complaints at all. Our son thought his burger was a little dry and could do with being asked how he would have liked it cooked. The taste was nice just needed a little less cooking time . All the rest of his dinner was perfect. Would recommend The Plough at Shutlanger to anyone looking for a lovely meal.

Our first visit in quite a while. The Plough has been very tastefully decorated and is clearly very popular for dining. Understandably so. Beautifully presented dishes cooked to perfection . Venison, sea bass and beef pie were all enjoyed! Only just room was left for a couple of delicious ice-creams and sorbets!

A great fine dining pub with traditional pub classics but a la carte! Lovely looking place, very homely, and very busy on a Saturday night. We were seated upstairs which felt like a private room with only two larger tables. The food was lovely, and as you can see, impeccably presented! Our server Joe was very knowledgeable, very friendly and super helpful when it came to splitting the bill minus the deposit paid for the table, minus the alcohol for a select few in our party. Only recommend improvements, the carpark is very unfinished for elderly or wheelchair access, and when seated upstairs, sometimes we had to wait longer than usual to get extra drinks. That said, We will definitely be going back!!

Great experience , only improvements I would make is either have few more specials or longer mains menu. The desserts menu we thought as a table of 6 was disappointing and no specials. The food that I had was amazing but could just do with more of a selection on the desserts.
