“We called in lunchtime on an awful day( pouring rain and windy) needless to say we were the only diners. Vijay our waiter was excellent: helpful, polite, friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. We had a selection of starters as we like to have a ‘tapas’ type lunch. You get an idea of the standard of food that way. There is complimentary bread and dips and a very good choice of wine. Definitely coming back with friends and family for an evening slap up!!!”

“I recently took my girlfriend to Murray’s restaurant for her birthday as she’s a big fan of fine dining…we were not disappointed. From start to finish, ALL staff, although very young, were confident, welcoming, professional, polite, and knowledgeable of what was on offer. The food was amazing, presentation was excellent, service exemplary and standards high. I would highly recommend to anyone.”

“Never really been here before it has just changed hands as never appealed, but the food is fantastic , and has now become our regular eatery, especially as on a Monday they offer 25% off the food bill, the fillet steak is Beautiful & cooked to perfection, also they make a great strawberry daiquiri”

“Sunday lunch for 9 adults in the restaurant. Arrived 1:15 restaurant not open until 1:30 so went into the public bar downstairs for a drink then at 1:30 went to the restaurant, had asked for a table in front of the window when booking and got exactly what we asked for. It was nice and warm in the room, the two course lunch was delicious. At the table was a £5 drinks voucher per person and a plastic disk which entitled you to a free £5 bet person person. Also you were able to place a bet on each race without leaving your table. An extremely enjoyable afternoons experience that I would recommend”

“We have just returned from a fabulous family weekend stay at Weasels Way. This was our third trip to Tove Valley Cottages and it as usual it did not disappoint. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and we had all the amenities we needed. The open plan layout worked really well for 3 generations of the family and the play area was a massive hit with the youngsters. The weather was good enough to sit in the outside area which had plenty of seating for us all. A highlight was a trip to Stowe which was beautiful and recommended by the owner. We had excellent contact from Annie before and after our trip. Thank you and we look forward to another visit one day.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the old chapel. This is an exceptional B&B. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lots of lovely extras including home made cake and an excellent plentiful breakfast. Communication was first class throughout with extremely friendly hosts. “Me and my partner finished our dance lesson up the road and popped in on the off chance they were serving food past 8pm. The gentlemen I spoke to was friendly and inviting, our dog also was allowed in. The food looked lovely and tasted great! the gin cocktail I had was great. The local atmosphere was great. We were a table of four and everything was spot on — the food was delicious, especially the steaks, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service made it even better. Huge thanks to Elena, Zuza, Ella and Alys ❤️ — all of them were amazing, so friendly and attentive the whole evening. “I had the pleasure of experiencing Moo Hatch at our recent Sales meeting, where they provided lunch for all the staff and it was an absolute hit! The burgers they served were nothing short of amazing, leading to rave reviews from everyone in attendance. The quality of food, combined with their efficient service and the convenience of their mobile setup, made our event even more special. It’s not every day you come across a burger that can genuinely impress a diverse group of people but Moo Hatch pulled it off with ease. Highly recommend for any event or gathering where you want your guests delighted and satisfied!”

“We was out with family for a event once we was hungry we decided to go to pizza time with our family once we ordered and the food was ready we decided to eat in, I must say best kebab pizza takeaway in Towcester! Very impressed, the kebab is a revolution, not greasy, the meat is perfectly cooked and tasty and the bread/salad/sauce is fresh, the pizzas was amazing tasted so fresh and high quality ingredients i must say our family loved it also the kids! A regular size here is in any other takeaway a large and the chips are gr8 too! Food was so delicious it was best we have ever had in ages and will definitely will be coming back everything was amazing also it was a very clean hygiene!”

“What a fantastic afternoon tea. We were thoroughly spoilt and had an incredible afternoon. Food was amazing. Very obviously freshly home baked cakes and scones not to mention the devine range of freshly made sandwiches. I was impressed with the care that was taken to accommodate my dietary requirements. From online enquiry, through to confirmation and today's visit I can only rate them 10 out of 10. We were so well looked after and made to feel very welcome. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend The Artea room if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy a special traditional English tea. Thank you to the team again”

“Popped into the Crown today for a drink. We hadn't planned to eat, but the food being served looked too good to miss. The ladies behind the bar were very accommodating and soon prepared us a table despite them being busy already. The food was hot, delicious and a perfect portion size. The beef was exquisite! The service overall was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome by everyone.”

“We went to Dilraj for our date night, my boyfriend has lived in Towcester for years and always wanted to go but never has so we decided to try it. Luckily we went on a banquet night, amazing price for what you get! All staff were friendly and even had a bit of a joke about my korma being a vindaloo! Jay was attentive and made sure we were happy throughout the evening, despite the restaurant being busy he always made time for us.”

“Delightful! Tiny intimate series of rabbit warren spaces that were seeming unending. Attentive and respectful staff under Mo’s watchful conducting. Food looked so beautiful and was top flight. Presentation by chef was exquisite. Excellent value. Only wish they served an English bitter beer as well as regular lager & IPAs. A nice Timothy Taylor or London Pride would make it perfect. Mo suggested I take a food parcel home as portion large - thank you, I hate asking but love cold curry for breakfast!”

“This is a hidden gem of a pub. You can stay overnight in your campervan, they have electric hook up and WiFi. The owners could not do enough for us, we rang to book and was told they stop serving food at 16:00hrs on a Sunday, but if we were late they would sort us out for food. We arrived an hour after they stopped serving but still welcomed us and let us choose whatever we wanted from the menus and the food was delicious. The locals were very friendly as was the staff/owners who could not do enough for us. We will definitely return when we are back in the area. 10 out of 10.”

“Can I say, that Chris and team are doing a great job, the food each time we have eaten has been excellent and really good VFM, the decor has been spruced up and most importantly for me and my mates, there are now, a couple of cask ale guest beers on tap, one of which is usually from a local brewery. We have seen tenants come and go with very mixed results, however Chris and team are right up there. Myself and everyone in the village are so pleased we have our lovely pub back!! Thank you!!!”
