Just returned from our very first visit to this lovely pub. We opted for 2 courses for £22. Obviously Sunday roast was on menu but we decided on pan fried haddock and fresh veg and cheeseburger. It was absolutely delicious and both had Eton mess to follow which was quickly devoured. The pub is a delight and worth the drive from Northampton.
Beautiful villiage pub serving outstanding food. The locals are super friendly and the pub is really welcoming. Highly recommend!!
First visit on strength of previous reviews. Excellent food and beer. We had Sunday roast beef followed by the sticky toffee pudding, thoroughly recommend, everything was excellent.
In 25 years of living in Eastcote I can honestly say the food has never been better. Just had Sunday lunch, everything cooked to perfection, followed by deconstructed Black Forest cheesecake, sublime. All supported by charming service and lovely decor, superb!
Can I say, that Chris and team are doing a great job, the food each time we have eaten has been excellent and really good VFM, the decor has been spruced up and most importantly for me and my mates, there are now, a couple of cask ale guest beers on tap, one of which is usually from a local brewery. We have seen tenants come and go with very mixed results, however Chris and team are right up there. Myself and everyone in the village are so pleased we have our lovely pub back!! Thank you!!!
Very pleasant village pub was buzzing when we visited for Sunday lunch. Good food, attentive service and nice atmosphere. Excellent roast beef. A bit noisy due to stone floors, simple pub menu, but a great find and we will be back soon.
Lovely Sunday lunch experience, Sunday carvery was excellent. Lovely atmosphere in a lovely oldy worldly pub.
The à la carte menu at weekends is really good - I had bream with scallops, perfect. Pub classics are great too. Good selection of ales and a beautiful quiet setting with a nice garden. Some covered seating outside too.
What a great pub! Decor is great, staff friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, we had Sunday roasts, lamb and pork - everything was tasty and tender. Will definitely be heading out there again.
Proper local pub with a variety of real ales, lagers and Ciders. Nice outdoor seating and smoking area with a fenced in garden for the children to play in
