βWe have just returned from a fabulous family weekend stay at Weasels Way. This was our third trip to Tove Valley Cottages and it as usual it did not disappoint. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and we had all the amenities we needed. The open plan layout worked really well for 3 generations of the family and the play area was a massive hit with the youngsters. The weather was good enough to sit in the outside area which had plenty of seating for us all. A highlight was a trip to Stowe which was beautiful and recommended by the owner. We had excellent contact from Annie before and after our trip. Thank you and we look forward to another visit one day.β
βWe had a wonderful stay at the old chapel. This is an exceptional B&B. Rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lots of lovely extras including home made cake and an excellent plentiful breakfast. Communication was first class throughout with extremely friendly hosts. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning. Anthony John Makin.β
βUnfortunately I would love to stay longer...flying visit short on time...lovely place...and highly recommended...great place as a home base if you are thinking a tour the area holiday or weekend break.β
βWe had a lovely trek & enjoyed getting to know the llamas.β
βI do not have enough words to say how incredible Plum Park Manor is! From seeing the venue for the first time and being blown away, and through the planning stage, the staff could not be more accommodating and helpful. On the day, it was simply beautiful! They helped with setting up, kept me and the bridal party up to date, and went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly. We had a slight emergency on our day but the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had such a special day! A special mention to Claire, Rowen and Izzy for all their hard work :) The venue itself was beautiful; all very clean, and didn't require much more decoration as its so picturesque already! The Bridal room had so much space to get changed in for me, 6 bridesmaids and my mum: the 4 flower girls joined us to and everyone loved getting ready in there! The men got changed next door but this wasn't an issue as still felt separate. The bedrooms were all lovely and its great they are on site and a short walk to breakfast back in the house the next morning! The food all day was delicious! From the canapΓ©s, main meal and evening pizza's, it all went down so well and all the guests loved it! I would highly recommend choosing Plum Park Manor for your wedding day! It was simply incredible in all areas and we couldn't have asked for a better day! Thank you!!β
βWe had our wedding at Slapton Manor earlier this year and couldnβt recommend it enough! The wedding venue itself is great for all types of weddings and also has great accommodation on site for the wedding party. Sam was great from start to finish and accommodated all our requests and the service on the day was absolutely seamless, moving us through the day. All the guests kept commenting on what a beautiful the venue was. Thanks again Sam for everything!β
βPopped into the Crown today for a drink. We hadn't planned to eat, but the food being served looked too good to miss. The ladies behind the bar were very accommodating and soon prepared us a table despite them being busy already. The food was hot, delicious and a perfect portion size. The beef was exquisite! The service overall was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome by everyone.β
βThis is a hidden gem of a pub. You can stay overnight in your campervan, they have electric hook up and WiFi. The owners could not do enough for us, we rang to book and was told they stop serving food at 16:00hrs on a Sunday, but if we were late they would sort us out for food. We arrived an hour after they stopped serving but still welcomed us and let us choose whatever we wanted from the menus and the food was delicious. The locals were very friendly as was the staff/owners who could not do enough for us. We will definitely return when we are back in the area. 10 out of 10.β
βPopped in for a pint after looking at a house in the village. Has the vibe of a locals pub, but everyone was really nice and the place has a proper British village pub feel. I'd go back for a few more beers!β
βAbsolutely fantastic stay at Handley Barn during a visit to the Foot Health 2024 conference at Silverstone in June. I will most definitely be staying there again next year. Great location, beautiful rooms and perfect hosts. The views from Handley Barn are breathtaking. During our stay, we ate at The New Inn in the nearby village of Abthorpe which I would also highly recommend. A perfect stay in a perfect location - simply wonderful!β
βStayed here for a year as a college student Cannot thank ray and Hannah enough you get amazing rooms service for a low price it's truly amazingβ
βWe placed our order on Thursday night for the Takeaway Menu, great communication with Hannah throughout and collected our meal tonight (Saturday) I was greeted with a warm welcome from Dominic, a great first impression. Our food was very tasty and full of flavour with nice size portions for Starters and Main, we look forward to returning very soon.β
βWe had a fantastic stay, the service was first class and very friendly. The accommodation is clean and the beds very comfortable. I highly recommend.β
βSuper cool to wake up next to a formula 1 race track. Upon arrival we did not know that there was a race track but opened up the curtains in the morning and saw the grandstands and the main raceway for Silverstone race track. Very nice rooms and good breakfast. Easy parking. Also a huge F1 store attached to it.β
βMy consultation and treatment at Cloud9 Spa took place in a warm-toned room smelling of fabulous fresh coconut fragrance. I felt like in the Amazonian jungle. My therapist went through my concerns and expectations in a detailed and attentive way setting the tone for the whole session. I felt extremely looked after, will come back again for sure!β
βVery lovely rooms, family and perfect location if going to the race track.β
βStayed here with my bridal party the night before my wedding and with my husband on my wedding night. Perfect location, you really do have a beautiful view over the fields from the front bedroom. The kitchen and living room area was perfect for the MUA and hairdresser to work in to get us ready and each bedroom has its own en suite which was a nice added bonus, when 6 of us were trying to get ready.β
βFour of us went for a day spa and we were very impressed. The facilities were clean and although busy it was not too busy. The buffet lunch was amazing, very fresh with so much choice. Our treatments were great. I had Ellie and she was so good I fell asleep! Very good value for money.β
βI've been here 4 times and recently had my 40th here. Love it. Service, food, spa all of it fab. If I had to give feedback I'd say the bed in one of the rooms was horrible and we had a bad sleep but only the one time. The rest was fab. And the spa treatment seems to be different per masseuse. So you could have the same package as someone else but receive a totally different experience. Also I think the staff should be stricted on savings the beds policy by the main pool cafe side. That was really annoying as we couldn't sit anywhere after lunch as people put towels down. Which to be honest is just rude. That said I will continue to come back. Always amazingly relaxed afterwardsβ
βexcellent pub, great atmosphere, great regulars, great place to stay also. Will be back very soon !!!β
